Staff very friendly and nice quiet place to stay.

The room and its ensuite were more than adequate for two days. There was a fridge, coffee and a kettle, and soap. The room had an evaporative cooler, louvres, and got cross ventilation, because the room was on the third storey. There's a communal kitchen, with pots, pans, stove, and microwave. There's a shop next door, where bottles of drinking water, packet noodles, and eggs were the main purchase during my stay. Airport transfers were provided as part of the stay. Staff members, such as Lena, Morris, Emma, Anna, and Margaret, are most gracious. The manager, Kule, is also an asset to the business. Staff accompany you at the drop of a hat, on any additional journeys you want to do, to wherever you want to go (within reason, of course), in the businesses nice, air-conditioned van (when it is available) - just contribute your own money toward the petrol purchase, for your journeys around town. This way, you are safe, and not hassled by spruikers, or potentially overcharged by taxi drivers. (The location of this accommodation was not immediately near local bus services.) Plus, I think it's nice to tip staff, or at least buy them food, during their day accompanying you. They go out of their way to accommodate you. My outbound flight was a slightly awkward mid-afternoon time, and the manager let me stay on in the room a couple of hours after checkout time. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hohola Apartments and recommend it to anyone.

All though I dint use the kitchen, I find the environment very calm, clean and private.. The staff was friendly and there was a lot of shade trees round the yard.

I booked air-condition room and made full up-front payment for 5 days but was denied and allocated a fan room on 3rd floor. It was very humid and uncomfortable.

Room was clean however just a bit dated …for the price. It had the facilities required.

The rooms need proper cleaning and put two towels in room instead one and staff needs to be more professional in their job.

Very good value, simple accommodation but with all you need for short stay. The host is also very nice and even took me around town. Definitely recommend

日本から旅行でこちらのホテルを予約しました！ ポートモレスビーのホテルは300K以上のところが多かったですが、こちらは非常にリーズナブル150K-200Kです。 空港送迎はもちろん、〇〇に行きたいとか、ご飯が買いたいと言えばオーナー自ら快く車を出してくださいます！！ 家族経営のアットホームなホテルです。 また泊まりたいです。

The apartment itself is very cosy, nothing too fancy but decent self contained rooms, for the people who'd prefer a small, private and quiet settings. What stands out is how "down to earth" friendly all the staff is from management to security at the front gate. Really adds to the "feel at home" comfort.

Hohola Apartments is a budget accommodation option in Port Moresby. And if you hear in mind that it is a budget stay and do not expect the services of a proper hotel, then you will be rewarded with a good clean room with private toilet and shower, towel and soap, fridge and tea &coffee facilities. I was initially hesitant to book my stay here however the much lower price helped make the decision and I do not regret it at all. They picked me up for free from the airport, took me to the big supermarket so I could buy some food and drinks, we had a very pleasant talk with Ronnie and Kule, they really go out of their way to help their clients. Just amazing service and friendliness that beats all else. It is located within a secure compound, has a common kitchen which you can use to cook or just have a chat. They also have me a lift early morning to another location for free. I did not expect this and was pleasantly surprised. The room itself is basic, but it has all you need for a stay. Walls are quite this so you can here people talk in the next room, but you can always ask people to be quite after a certain hour. no wifi, so get yourself a local SIM card first. And apparently they will take you around the city as well for free, which is a huge bonus
