Highly recommended

Rarely cleaned shared bathroom. Sometimes very dirty. Lots of noise, thin walls, doors slamming all day, both from other guests and staff. creaky floors, so you could hear everyone moving, in other rooms and the hallway. Room not cleaned all week. Small selection at breakfast, and often empty of cups, food and drinks. two different heights of blackout curtains that didn't fit the window let in a lot of light.

Godt basis hotel. Værelserne er rene. Servicen er meget afhængig af personalet der har vagten. Der skal strammes op. Både i receptionen og i morgenmads restauranten. Menú til vegetar er fantasiløs og der er kun den samme burger som i de tre forgangne år. Kaffen er gratis. Der er ikke vandlås på håndvasken i badeværelset så dæk den til med et håndklæde, så slipper du for kloak lugt.

Good breakfast

We very much enjoyed our two nights stay at the old Sailor Home. Good location if you want to be close to the harbor and a little away from the center. Still in walking distance to center. Nice views, good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food.

A nice property by the port with beautiful mountain views at breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was snowed in for a few days but it was just perfect, you are invited to help yourself to coffee in the dining room anytime and made to feel at home. I booked one of the small single rooms which had a very comfy bed and a nice view of the fishing boats.

Room was spacious and clean, bathroom a little small but it was sufficient. One thing to note, more accessibly located power points would be handy. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were both lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is about a 20 min walk to the main part of town but it’s an easy walk up the stairs and along the main road. If you are getting a tour or ferry from the port it’s about a 5 min walk.

The hotel was clean and friendly and I'd readily stay there again. For the price though, I'd have wished for a little more luxury on the downstairs rooms. I stayed twice in a week; the first time was downstairs and close to the hot tub - very noisy that night with a group in the tub. The second night I stayed, it was upstairs, it was quiet, and much more luxurious. Definitely ask for an upstairs room!

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean, and you get exactly what you are told. Nice common living rooms to hang out in if the room is small.

We loved our stay at Hotel Soma in Nuuk. The staff were so warm and welcoming. We felt very comfortable throughout our visit because of the kindness shown to us. The restaurant was superior, and the Christmas feast was truly amazing. Our room was very clean and had the minimalist styling and high-quality furnishings the Danish are famous for.
