I booked through Expedia, the internet did not work in the room, I was unable to connect with my clients for my business meeting, as a result I lost money. Later that night, we lost power in the room due to a faulty coffee maker (The entire circuit shut down). We were upgraded to a suite but the damage was already done, I lost over $1000 in business and am still waiting to be reimbursed for the cost of the room. The staff and the manager were very nice and helpful during the crisis.
