The hotel itself was fine but it is right next to the railroad station and very noisy trains run by all night. The provide earplugs.

I stayed here with my daughter and we were super impressed. The beds were so comfortable and the room was spotless. The pool area is fabulous and my daughter did a spin class. It was like a mini retreat. We would highly recommend it 💕

Central hotel with a great boutique hotel vibe … if that’s your thing. The bartender should have been as attentive to his customers as he was to his mobile phone.

This hotel was beautiful. Reminded me of. Moxy. Small rooms bit had everything we needed.

This was my first stay at The Dean Cork, I had a great time. The hotel is in an excellent location beside the train station and only a 5 minute walk to Cork city centre. The staff were amazing and no request was too big or small. Sophies roof top bar and restaurant has an excellent variety of food and drinks, especially the cocktail menu. As a guest, you also have access to the hotels Power Gym, pool, sauna and steam room, which is a great feature for a city centre hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and had plenty of space with a fully stocked mini bar. The only draw backs are that the room didnt have much in the way of storage capacity and there is no onsite parking. Parking is available in the train station next door for an additional fee. Overall I would highly recommend The Dean Cork to anyone thinking of exploring Cork.

They gave me s room just in front of train station...I asked for a change and they said yes...and 3h later they said no...and the day after they didn't ask about the noise or how I sleep... I chosed double room king bed...and they put 2 individual bed together, really uncomfortable. It's a pity because I knew this hotel previously with a good feedback. Unfortunately after this stay, I'll never back!! Too expensive and horrible service

We were disappointed that we were put in a handicapped room without being told. The sink was way to low and the shower had nothing to retain the water. The room needed a luggage rack at the very least as there were no d rawers or shelves to unpack. We had breakfast in the restaurant and that was a good experience.

I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they can’t do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. It’s absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath one’s back when one books a room with a king/queen bed. I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask. I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy. Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room. The Dean Cork is all “style” but no substance.

We took the train to Cork and the hotel was a quick walk away. (Use the down ramp at the station, it has a lift if you need it). It was a nice room, well decorated, a little tight for what I am used to but the sauna and pool made up for that easily. The city was in walking distance. Being so close to the train, we decided to take a ride to Cobh for the afternoon and evening. I think this hotel had a wonderful vibe and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

So much space! Modern and stylish, great location and staff was helpful in setting up Black Cab tour (highly recommend). Lots of restaurants right out the doors and walkable to many of the tourist sites. Felt like we were living in Belfast, not just visiting. Free laundry was a nice touch!

a newish, modern designed hotel with many amenities (gym, restuarant etc.) Room was comfortable and location was central to transportation around the city of Cork. Staff is young and friendly and answered all our questions. THe ONLY down side was that our room was facing the Train station and it was a little noisy from the train horns which they blew off entering and leaving the station. Does not go on all night though so we slept well

Located next to the train station and near buses, The Dean is an easy walk into town. The Hotel is easy to access for day trips if driving. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. There is construction nearby, but we did not notice excessive noise and are light sleepers.

We took the train to Cork and the hotel is right behind the station. Noise not an issue. Staff was great and the whole vibe of the hotel is fun. Minutes by foot to all kinds of food and drink. Highly recommend.

Property location was great, large bathrooms in rooms, great rooftop restaurant and bar downstairs was great. Parking was difficult as the property doesn't have onsite parking.

Cool hotel but the accommodations didn’t measure up. We were given a handicapped accessible room as that was all they had left when we checked in. When you showered the whole floor was wet therefore wasn’t user friendly. No hooks in the bathroom for towels. Rooftop dinner was lovely but service was very slow.

Great hotel & location, rooms a bit on the cozy side but well appointed . Food at Sophie’s is amazing , we ate in 2 of our 3 nights.

Fantastic hotel, however music pumping somewhere in the building wasnt yhe best when trying to get to sleep so used earplugs. Beds and room were fantastic. Amazing shower! Used rooftop bar which was nice duringvtge glorious weather despite overlooking building site.
