The family room was amazing and very comfortable. We really felt at home. The morning desk person was VERY unhelpful, condescending and rude. 2 of us left at 10am to pick up a car rental. We had to ask for a later check out and it was granted until 11:30. As our 2 other friends were busily bringing all our luggage down around 11:30, they returned to the room to get the the last pieces of luggage. The card did not work and the front desk person was so rude when we asked to gain access to get the bags. He said it’s 11:32 and you only had extension until 11:30…. Like he was going to keep our bag. He argued and only begrudgingly allowed us upstairs to get the rest of the luggage.

Nice stay for an early morning flight out. Lots of amenities at the hotel. It had a nice gym, a nice looking pool, and the onsite restaurant was excellent. Shuttle ran every 30 minutes, so long as a previous request was made. Would definitely recommend staying here for a conference or to be by the airport. Just be aware that it is roughly 40 minutes with traffic to downtown Tirana.

Great hotel - the reception staff were polite and very helpful, the pool area is amazing and the massage I had was just what I needed.

Breakfast was great. The staff were pleasant & helpful. Would stay again.

My stay was generally a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and modern. I enjoyed how natural and serene the surrounding environment was. I booked facial treatment and relaxing massage and the experience was great. But a few things I didn't like: 1. There is no room service for breakfast but there is room service for lunch. 2. There was no microwave available when I requested one to heat a pizza I ordered because it arrived cold.

Very nice hotel close to the airport. I arrived at 1:30 a.m. and the shuttle was waiting for me. The staff was very nice and attentive. And the shuttle brought me back to the airport the next day.

This was our second stay at MK Tirana, and it was just as good as the first! Because we are a family of four, we stayed in the larger room that has a bedroom and living room, which has a couch that opens into bunk beds for our boys. It has a view of the courtyard, and is absolutely stunning! Although we never used it, we had a kitchenette, even with an oven! The rooms are huge, very well decorated and comfortable. Each room has its own temperature control, and they work well. Each room also has large doors that open giving plenty of fresh air. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We arrived at the airport having forgotten to book the shuttle. We called to book it, knowing that you must book two hours in advance, and we were prepared to wait. However, when. i explained the situation, the staff member contacted the shuttle, and we were picked up in minutes!! They might not always want to do that, but it demonstrates how helpful they are! Our only complaint is that the restaurant is quite expensive, and the portions are smaller. However, the quality of the food is excellent. And the breakfast is not included in your stay. We had it added on in the booking, and that saves a little money. But the breakfast is definitely worth it!!! It is one of the top three breakfast buffet I have ever been to. Amazing selection, fresh, and again, extremely friendly staff. We would come a third time of ever in Tirana again!

My experience left a lot to be desired. I booked this hotel to spend the last night of our trip in Albania and celebrate my partner's birthday. It is advertised as a "spa" hotel, but neither Expedia nor the hotel website mention that the water facilities are seasonal and only open in the summer. Visiting in April, the included "spa" experience was limited to a single sauna. While one receptionist was very kind, the rest of the staff was unhelpful. Our AC didn't work, and we were told "nothing could be done", so we had to sleep with the windows open because it was a hot day in Tirana. The restaurant staff was extremely uninviting too, we felt like an inconvenience rather than guests. On a positive note, the Deluxe room was nice, breakfast was good, and the location is convenient for the airport (though far from any other attractions). Other than that, this was far from a 5-star experience.

The only downside was that the outdoor pool wasn’t functioning for the season, so we couldn’t use it during our stay. It would have been helpful to know this in advance.
