A fun property in a great location and friendly staff.

Convenient location, clean, quiet, staff was very accommodating

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. It’s centrally located in the middle of many restaurants, bars, shops, and attractions.

Great Boutique hotel - Super friendly lovely staff / excellent location, comfortable bed. A great Bar right next to the hotel. Can be noisy but that didn’t bother us and the windows are double / tripple glas and you don’t hear much if they are closed. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent property, brilliant stay. Very quirky and cool hotel. Breakfast and free afternoon drink and cake was cool and sometimes just what was needed. Walkable to most places. Staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend this hotel.

We loved staying at this unique, fun hotel! It was close to lots of restaurants, shops, and sightseeing. We were with our young adult children and they loved the location. The breakfast was fantastic!!

Stayed here for 4 nights on a city break. Hotel processed our check in despite us arriving very early and stored our luggage. They gave us such a good overview of the city using a map. They also called us once our room was ready, which was earlier than official check in. We really appreciated this. The overall hotel is super stylish and in great condition. The staff are all friendly. The location is great. The street outside gets very busy at night with the bars spilling onto streets. There are people offering narcotics immediately outside the hotel because of the crowds. But we always felt safe. And none of the noise impacted our stay. We stayed in a suite with terrace. And the room is my only negative thing about this hotel. It was wonderfully spacious but lacking in useful and functional considerations. No drawers to unpack into, small hanging space only. Bedside tables were tiny metal shelves, with one of them losing half its usable space to the phone. There was no where the two of us could sit together in the room to have a coffee. One desk chair. One comfy chair. No table. But so much space to have had these. Bathroom had a double sink which meant no usable space to put your items. Lighting in the shower was dull. 1 bottle of water per day only. Just really not the luxury stay it describes itself as.

Very nice, clean and modern. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The hotel is centrally located with tons to do, see, and plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. I will definitely be staying here again!

This property is Amazing, I will definitely revisit again. Some suggestions : sell hotel postcards. They Can also be used as book mark or business card too.

Maria at the front desk was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable and always had a smile. The hotel is very fortunate to have her.

Stayed in a garden room which was spacious and had a balcony with seating. The room s modern, clean and well maintained.

This hotel may not be 5 stars however their service is beyond five stars. The staff are very attentive, professional and friendly. They will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best. The manager Jose is amazing and the staff appear as if they are treated well and are committed to make your stay exceptional. They made me feel at home while abroad. The staff must love what they do because it comes across when they interact with you. I received five star service during my stay. We want to come back! Thank you all at Chic & Basic Gravity!

We needed a hotel with parking for a single night stay in Porto and stumbled on Chic through the hotels.com. We were hoping for a quiet room and the staff was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. We loved the modern decor and the room was exceptionally quiet despite the hotel being full on a Friday night. The location was also perfect for us—within walking distance of any number of good restaurants and tourist sites. We like the Chic & Basic Gravity so much, that when we needed a hotel the night before our flight, we decided to book there instead of staying at a hotel near the airport.
