The room smelled horrible, there were cockroaches in the room. The room has cameras, and the staff has access card to enter your room whenever they want. I was harassed by the hotel staff to pay extra money (MYR370), else he will enter the room to "check it". The money is supposedly for cleaning the place, security deposit, and tourism tax. Upon trying to request paying the money on check out (we didn't have cash), he started yelling outside the building, called a spare key card and entered the room, where my girlfriend was sleeping. We had to take our luggage out and find someplace else to stay, as we were thrown out of the room. The nightmare did not stop there as then he threatened to hit me, stopped me from checking into another hotel right next door, till I pay him his money. I did not accept being extorted this way, so I called the roaming around the building, they helped me safely escort my girlfriend to another hotel. Keys were handed over back to the hotel, meanwhile no cancellation or refund was provided. I lost money, time, and had my life in danger. Never going to book through the app as they do nothing in this situation, nor am I ever gonna stay in this hotel.
