Property is nice but far from all the action it's on the other side of the split you have to take a ferry back and forth . No fridge or microwave in room (you. Can request a refrigerator). Very quiet.

What a beautiful country and one of the most hospitable people you’ll ever meet. El Ben Cabañas is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Coming to a country for the first time can be so intimidating but they have made it so seamless and wonderful. They are located in the North side of Caye Caulker where it is more quiet, I couldn’t have picked a better spot to have a relaxed time. They accommodated my early last minute arrival and I was greeted by Britney with a big smile along with the different workers there! Moren the main manager was also incredible and I very much felt like family in the time spent here. Plus the food in their restaurant is phenomenal. I will definitely be back!

El Ben is a great space with very friendly and helpful staff! Great accessibility to explore the North Side and for trips to the South Side, too. Would definitely recommend & stay there again.

Everything was great just being on the other side of the island is an inconvenience as boats from hotel only run this certain time after they stop you have to figure out your own way back to the hotel

Great customer service they made us feel very welcoming. Thumbs up to the restaurant staff that served us great food every time. I would recommend this resort to everyone who wants to visit Belize. We enjoyed visiting the split where most activities were and great food.

Property and staff were lovely. But, the sargassum was so bad due to the location among the mangroves that the rotten smell permeated the whole property including our cabana. I know that’s completely out of the hotel

We had the most lovely, comfortable stay! The staff were amazing! Most helpful, kind, considerate group that I’ve ever encountered. Not intrusive at all, but meet every need, request, and anticipated need. The complimentary boat ride across the split multiple times a day was soo nice. Very clean. Restaurant was great as is the cafe directly across the street. Best fruit smoothies we’ve ever had. Very quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to go back some day!

A room is clean. Staff is good but I don’t see much. A complimentary boat ride between north and south is good and exciting but it can feel a little limiting especially on Wednesdays. If you provided a booklet about the hotel facilities, amenities, activities the way to get north… that would be nicer and kinder.

Greeting when we arrived was fantastic. Room was clean, and food was good. When we booked this place it was because of the pool bar, however, what isn’t said is that the bar is only open Friday-Sunday. This should clearly be stated as we were there Sunday- Wednesday so only got it for one day.

Great cabanas that were clean & with everything you need. Staff were fantastic and we enjoyed the restaurant. Loved being in a quiet setting but near town, and the free boat transfers worked great.

I highly enjoyed my room with its high ceilings and comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful, waking up to the sounds of morning doves. The restaurant was exceptional - friendly staff and delicious food. Only complaint was the lack of communication between office staff and access to needed services - not having a reservation on Tropic Air on upon my arrival in Belize City, confusion about what could be ordered with the breakfast certificate, not giving me correct information about the pickup time for a snorkeling trip and then not being on the list for the trip, not being on the list for the water taxi to the airport. not arranging for my driver to be paid for my ride from the water taxi to the airport. Chronic lack of follow through.
