The room was overpriced. Not happy that the main restaurant was closed and only the buffet available!

Staff were rude - lots of them milling about but not very forthcoming to help. Room was nice as long as you did not look too much! Shower was coming loose off the wall. Not much choice of TV stations. Conference facilities were appalling. The AV system was of very poor quality - only hand held microphones that were very poor, cutting out all the time and sound quality terrible. Screens also need an update.

clean room, great staff, nice spa, enjoyed my stay

I only stayed one night but the hotel was really clean and modern. I had a lovely meal at Azure grill and a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. The hotel is also ideally located close to the airport.

Nice hotel overall, my only complaint is the charge per night. With over $400/night cost, complimentary breakfast should be included. This same quality of hotel in the U.S would be fraction of the cost.

Bad exreience. service is very bad. a guest room door was not working. It took 2 hours to foix my room door. A reception desk and facility manegemen have bad communications. Totally I could not enter my room for two hours!! I have used this hotel many years, but service is getting worse gradually.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying five days at the Lagos Marriott in Ikeja, and I can honestly say it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. From the moment I checked in, the staff exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness that made me feel right at home. The spa experience was nothing short of amazing — I indulged in both a massage and a facial, and the therapists were attentive, skilled, and incredibly professional. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge during my stay. The dining experience was equally exceptional. On my very first night, I dined at Idapo Lounge, and I was thoroughly impressed. The supervisor and waitstaff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Special shout-out to Blessed and Kennedy, who truly made my evening unforgettable. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. A special thank you to Kennedy, who not only offered thoughtful food recommendations but also took the time to suggest ways I could explore Lagos and even helped with tips for car service. His genuine care and attentiveness elevated my overall experience — he embodies true hospitality. Overall, the entire team made my stay world-class. The service, the food, the spa, and the friendliness of everyone I encountered were all second to none. I’m leaving Lagos with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the culture, hospitality, and people of Nigeria. Can’t wait to return!

Great stay every time

My stay would have been okay, but in the morning when i took a shower, water escaped into the room and the entire room was wet. My shoes and a couple of clothes got messed up as a result. The shower drain needs to be fixed and the pan made to contain water instead escaping through the shower door

The customer service was appalling, the staff offer scripted apologies and do not use their emotional intelligence to assess situations. The service is the worst ever and I would not recommend. The place looks good but what good is the beauty when the customer service is appalling.

I like that it was not too far from the international airport. The staff, including Happiness at the check-in counter, were quite nice and professional
