Fantastic selection of pint on offer. The stout was class. Amazing they had a 3 course vegan menu (couple of options on each course) and the food was super lovely. Nice wholesome pub food but of a higher calibre that you could expect in a restaurant. Delicious. The staff were so attentive. I wish I could remember the person name who checked me in and served (red hair and glasses, so to describe your appearance, but you deserve credit 😁) this person knows how to run a bar/restaurant and is clearly super capable. They even went out to go get me oat milk for morning. Top service!

We had a one night stay because of a local wedding so decided to stay overnight at the ship inn. Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good.. Breakfast was continental with a selection of cereals & oats yogurts. I was delighted with everything and would go back again no problem 😊

We ate lunch and everything was delicious. Room nice, big and clean. The only critic would be to invest in a mattetess topper as springs could be felt.

Great place

Bed too low on the ground and uncomfortable. Very noisy in restaurant and bar area. One main meal is sufficient for me but menu was set price for 4 courses.

Lovely quaint little village hotel

Very cute place in the town I was born. Went for a visit after many decades of not seeing the town. Staff very lovely. The room had a low ceiling that my husband had to watch not to hit. Bed was comfortable but what made for a not pleasant sleep was that it had no air conditioning! The fan that was provided was not strong at all. It was so hot, didn’t have a good nights sleep 😟

Excellent room Great food

The property was lovely, rooms were very hot as the weather was extremely hot but all rooms had fans so it was fine. Definitely stay again. Lovely staff and very friendly. Food was excellent.

Our stay at the Ship Inn was lovely - the rooms are perfect, the bed super comfy and ear plugs are provided for any noise from the pub downstairs (which we did not find a problem at all). Breakfast is continental but very lovely and we had a really nice stay. Also ate at the pub and would definitely recommend - all staff lovely and food really really good (and nice cocktails too at a good price!)
