Taj Lakefront in Bhopal is always a great experience. The staff is very courteous, food and service is great. My room had a good view of the hills.

Where do I begin? The minute we entered this Taj hotel, we instantly felt relaxed: we knew we would get a comfortable perfectly clean room, good food prepared following a strict hygienic protocol, a very pleasant environment due to very well trained team that’s as professional in its efficiency as it is kind and personable. And of course they delivered! From Bharat, of housekeeping, who expertly got our laundry done overnight, and pampered us with care and delightful little decor surprises, to the entire reception and restaurant staff, the well appointed gift shop’s gentlemen, to Pranshu, of management, who miraculously provided me with the maps I had unsuccessfully been looking for in countless places across Bhopal and its region, and provided us with lots of useful information with warmth and genuine dedication, I could go on and on… oh yes, and the magical spa massages that put a smile on my husband’s lips each and every time, leaving him totally relaxed and reenergized! This has been our perfect place to restore our strength, delight our taste buds, inform us about the region’s many fascinating historical places and art and provide us with wonderful lasting memories! It was a pleasure to stay at a hotel which is excellently maintained. Art, craftsmanship and traditional culture add to the experience. From the front desk, to the dining rooms, and even the fitness center the staff was attentive. Plus the laundry service was excellent.

The rooftop bar was closed and this wasn’t advised in advance. For the price of this hotel, the availability of the facilities are woeful. The spa was also fully booked. I would not stay here again

had a horrible experience for my couple of days stay . Listing below fhe issue in detail : 1. Baby crib/cot was broken that was given for my 7 months old . Please note as per my understanding it's hotel staffs duty to provide safe equipment for the guest stay . The crib was broken due to which it wasn't latching and since babies have a tendency to be unpredictable it could have caused a serious injury had I not inspected it before putting the baby in the crib /cot.When i escalated the matter to the managment , there tone was super rude including the HOD House keeping named Mr Hussain . I was super annoyed since its the matter of my kids safety but clearly for them it was a very normal issue and i was creating a scene. I definitely agree that i was loud but I had no option since the staff behavior was very unprofessional as if they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in the hotel .(pics unfortunately not available) 2. We booked 4 meals in the hotel (half board),but unfortunately the food was horrible . There was large price of cauliflower in the Thai curry which fortunately I haven't seen in my travel experience . Party going on in the garden then stage being dismantled until 6:45am did not get any sleep, nothing done after 2 complaints, not what I expected from Taj - I won’t be using the cabin again anywhere.

Staff at this location is very well trained, all are willing to out of way to help and assist. I would like to give special mention to ... 'Stela', host at Machan for her warm care, enchanting smile, attention to details and consistently warm hospitality at all times; 'Paasang', at Jiva Spa is a professional of highest degree, provides a consistent experience, has an excellent knowledge of de-stressing the clients and offering an experience that is relaxing and de-stressing, she never lets her focus down during whole treatment, amazing experience I had.

Taj group of hotels is the best in the world.

Taj Lake Front hotel was an amazing experience, specially there services and staff !! The gentleman at breakfast service Brijesh took care of us like a family, The lady at breakfast check in was very thoughtful, she went out of the way to organized my daughter’s birthday lunch. Room had a beautiful lake view of my favorite city Bhopal ( where I grew up). Thank you Taj and it’s staff for making our family trip memorable.

Poor front office cooperation.. Very inflexible policy for changing reservations. I couldn’t cut short my visit and had to pay for entire three days even though I stayed there only for two days.
