Gorgeous stay at a seafront cottage. No idea how the cleaning staff manages to keep all the sand out of the cottages, but they work some serious magic. The biggest downsides were the dive shop being across the street and the rotating restaurants that all felt similar. Going on an activity/snorkel/dive and having to cross the street was an inconvenience and added to the clothing I needed to take, as I felt uncomfortable walking in public in swimwear. The restaurants rotate through the nights with the same staff working them, but a different theme. I wish we would have headed into town to try the local restaurants sooner, as we enjoyed those better. Overall - we are already talking about returning and the property is gorgeous with helpful staff.

The Balinese-style huts were so lovely, the property was incredible and so well-taken care of. The staff was so kind and thoughtful. When they saw we were sunburned, they brought us aloe from the garden. Bring bug repellant.

Very convenient , right next to pool and view of the ocean from your bed. Rooms are exceptional and meticulously clean. Staff are very friendly. Restaurants and food excellent. Very unique and beautiful pool.

Our cottage had a wonderful beach view and was at the end of the property. It had a screened in porch and a beautiful interior which was clean and spacious. We were only a few feet away from the "Adult Pool" which we swam in every day. The staff were super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond in everything, including our dining and arranging our two excursions. We loved the Sunset Cruise around Placencia Bay and the Monkey River Tour was very interesting. If you do the Monkey River make sure you bring plenty of insect repellent and a hat. The mosquitoes were everywhere! Other than that we had a fabulous stay and will surely be back. It's a real gem in paradise!

Sargassum seaweed lines the beaches throughout the Carribean and this beach is no exception. Also, sand flies and mosquitoes were prevalent in this area, requiring nets over the bed to sleep at night. The property was nice, but very expensive.

This was our second winter trip to the Turtle Inn. We were delayed by a blizzard and arrived 3 days late, but it was such a welcome relief to get there. Can't say enough about how we enjoy this magical place. Staff was top notch, food was excellent, and the massage! Oh the massage. It made us forget about the 39" of snow back home. We will be back again next year.

Incredible service, staff super friendly, they were on top of each thing we called them for... One of the friendliest staff at any resort we have ever stayed. Top Notch, highly recommend! We will be back very soon.

One of my top hotels ever. Turtle Inn is just spectacularly beautiful. The staff is incredibly helpful, the restaurants are all terrific, and the spa it totally dreamy. We can’t wait to return.

The hotel Turtle Inn has the most amazing rooms we had ever enjoyed (besides Mauritius and the Maldives) but unfortunately the service was unbelievably volatile and at times even unfriendly. Coming from Guatemala where people are so friendly, we had a mixed experience at this hotel: the welcome was bareöy warm-hearted, at the beach you had to fetch the chairs yourselves...no towels, just some mini towels, restaurant service at the breakfast was once even rude and no management nowhere. We spent 5 days there and no GM, nothing. Hhat explains why the service is volatile. Seems lile the GM has other priorities. Too bad.

I enjoyed experiencing the gorgeous sunrises on the beach front property. A rainbow of colors could be observed with the sunlight, scattered clouds, and reflective ocean surfaces!

What a beautiful resort. After coming from San Pedro this place was truly paradise. The staff is friendly and everyone is always willing to help. The restaurants are delicious. The concierge will book everything for you so please use them. Take some time to go to the gift shop and have some delicious pizza! The rooms are amazing just be careful with the mosquitos. I will definitely be back here.
