Stale bread on a BLT at lunch time in the restaurant. Turkey Club and fries were good. Our room (407) ceiling was unfinished - literally fiber board nailed in to the ceiling and had not been spackled or painted! Not expecting this!!. Staff was friendly and nice but seemed little trained.

Elevator wasn’t working properly…no staff available to help.

Great location. A lot of nearby stuff to do with some great eats and drinks.

Check in was easy and the front desk staff were excellent ! Very helpful and kind with all of our NYC questions. One of the elevators was broken and it took forever to go up and down using the other 2 that were working properly so that wasn’t great. The elevators had no AC and it was so hot in there and there was no music or white noise …making it rather awkward riding with complete silence. The hotel is apparently pet friendly and someone beside us had a very yappy dog so sound machine was needed for sleeping. The room itself was very clean, modern and comfortable. The gym was also very nice but doesn’t have a bathroom and again, the elevators were so slow so that wasn’t great if you needed to go to the bathroom before gym session was over. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the staff were excellent! Buffet was a little pricey but was good and seemed as fresh as a buffet could be with fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, bacon, yogurt and oatmeal. There is a refillable water station located in the lobby so that was nice, especially with the record breaking heat NYC is experiencing. Coffee in room only has 2 creamers so if you like cream, ask for more at the desk when you check in. 🙂Very convenient location!

First time stay. Loved it. Will definitely stay again. The staff was tremendous and the room, albeit NY small, was very well appointed. My TV remote control didn’t work, but I didn’t really have time to use the TV anyway. I liked the gym too. And the location was exceptional.

The Grayson does not have enough working elevators and front desk staff to support the hotel guests. I would not recommend staying there

l'hotel è molto bello, posizione strategica per quanto mi riguarda. il check in non è andato benissimo , continuavano a farmi problemi con la carta aziendale e sono stata costretta a pagare con la mia personale ( il problema era loro, dato che al check out ho chiesto di riprovare e infatti , la carta funzionava e bene) .non mi è piaciuto il modo in cui si sono posti. Inoltre, ascensori troppo lenti, impossibile scendere e salire.

Geat size of the room

We were able to check in early, which was a perk, but I wouldn’t say the city view is really a view. Pictures made it look like you something different. If you want city views, you have to be atleast above the 20th floor. Other notes: There are blinds to the shower near the beds (that was a little different) and breakfast doesn’t start until 7. Otherwise, location is great if you want to explore both upper east or lower manhattan

Hotel was very nice , staff friendly and helpful however… The rooms were incredibly tiny. Being from New York I understand they are small, but not only were these small. They were also in need of a desk and mini fridge. We could not believe how basic the room was..

The Grayson hotel was great. The location is awesome. The staff is so helpful. The rooms are excellent- comfortable bed and pillows, updated bathroom. I will definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel, well located, beautiful designed rooms

Beautiful hotel and spacious for NYC. Super clean and for the most part friendly staff. I did have an issue with them not getting back to me when I sent a message before we checked in asking for feather free pillows. Since they didn’t get back to me I had to call the front desk and the person I talked to seemed focused on other things and was short with me.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Felt Like home every time we returned. Elevators are a bit slow is my only comment!

So clean and even though we got in really late, we were still greeted with a smile!
