Staff went out of their way to please. This is a quintesential small Panamanian hotel. Not perfect in terms of condition. Older hotel with flaws as far as condition but staff makes up for that 10 times over. Personal service and food and drink very good and priced well. Quiet area with pool and hilltop view of Pacific. If you want an updated hotel stay in Panama City. If not go to Hotel Eclipse and get one on one service and comfort at a reasonable price and deal with a superbe staff!

Very friendly staff, room was clean, bed was comfortable and air conditioner and ceiling fan were quiet.

This hotel has many features to recommend it: a stunning pool, terrific service (Hiciela and Axel in particular at the front desk and restaurant), a tranquil setting, and beautiful touches in the building itself. It's an ideal place to get away. One note: it's a good hour from Valle de Anton although the mileage makes it seem closer.

The main thing here is the view! Breath-taking. Hotel needs a bit of TLC. Staff all very friendly. Nobody on call of a night and no emergency number left.

The staff was fantastic as was the view. We had the place to ourselves and it is up on the mountain. You have a panorama of the ocean and the valleys - it is outstanding. The price is great and the vibe is too. The pool desperately needs chlorine tho. Fortunately you can be at Playa Los Panama in 25 mins. The one 15 mins away is super tough to get on and the local gringos suck.

It had a slight smell of insecticide

The property and furnishings are showing their age. Needs upgrades and maintenance. But staff was great and did a good job keeping it clean. Didn't utilize the restaurant so cannot comment on it.

La propiedad es linda, tranquilo el ambiente, mucho silencio, ideal para descansar. El personal que nos ha recibido muy cálidos en sus atenciones

Las instalaciones están bien, con bar, restaurante, buena piscina con vista a las montañas. La cama es incómoda y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba

The hotel overall is a little worn around the edges but the views more than make up for the maintenance that need to be done.

The view was spectacular, but the road to the property was not great. Because it was on top of a hill, it was very windy which made for a lot of noise when we were trying to sleep. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but their English was very limited.

The place was clean and the staff was excellent. …….however the overall building and property is in need or renovation. Lots of potential as the views are amazing and the area is conveniently located close to town.

Stayed two nights so we could see the El Cano Archaeological site (about 90 minutes away) one day and the El Valle market (about a hour away) the next morning. We loved our time there. The owners are super nice and accommodating. The views of the Pacific and adjacent mountains are awesome. The free breakfast blew us away. Eggs, fruit and other typical Panamanian items. This place is worth seeing and staying.
