Very large room. Clean, but older property. Unmanned desk, but sister hotel 1/2 a block away was very helpful.

The hotel was wonderfully located, easily walkable to the Places D'Armes as well as the Citadel and Plains of Abraham. The local dining options were numerous. Unfortunately the hotel itself was in dire need of some TLC and apart from the cleaning lady, we only met a reception member from another hotel once, who only came because we had to call the help number. It felt very impersonal.

Staff at reception desk friendly and directed us to parking space. Parking convenient behind hotel. Room small but clean. Bed comfortable, bathroom clean, air conditioning great. Wifi sporadic. Good spot for walking around old Quebec

Honestly, the building is decent, and in a very walkable location, however, the room was dirty, the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned in some time (hair stuck all over the bathtub and shower tiles, toothpaste smears on the sink, gunk gathering in the corners of the tub, either black mold or bugs up high on the ceiling). The furniture was dusty and dirty. The front desk is not manned, you have to call a number to try and reach someone. Would not stay here again.

Shabby room. Leaking bathtub and worst…a hole in the ceiling above the toilet which began leaking overnight. Too bad…could be a nice little Parisian feeling small hotel with a little more love and attention to detail.

I really liked the location for it's proximity to shopping and cultural sites. I found the room to be in need of an upgrade. The bathroom door was difficult to open as it dragged against the flooring, the room only had one chair to sit in.

Nifty old hotel in Old Quebec City.

We loved the location of this hotel and the charm of an older building. We live in an 18th century home, so an older place with quirks was okay with us. If you want modern or new, this isn't the place for you. The only issues were that the cable stopped working, the internet was slow or not working, and contrary to the hotels.com/expedia filers, there is NO on-site parking. We had to book a spot in the lower town and walk. Otherwise, this spot was close to all the action, clean, and comfortable.

Room was clean, close to shopping and restaurants. Beautiful historical area. I felt misled, however. The website says Parking Available. What they meant was Public Parking was available if you walked about 5-7 minutes away with all your luggage. The site said there was limited uncovered parking on site. I had to call when I got there to find out where to park and was told there was none on site. It was private behind the hotel. This should be posted on their site. Also, security chain on our bedroom door was broken.

We loved staying at the heart of old Quebec. Great to be able to park at the hotel and walk everywhere. Will definitely stay there again.

The staff is only available by phone however, they were very helpful in getting us info when our car died in the parking garage.

There was no staff… we did have some concerns about security as we found the front door wedged open making it possible for anyone to enter the premises as there was no staff to monitor this…

Better description on where parking is available. The phone line was very distorted.
