The room was the dirtiest room i have ever stayed in. Didn't go into my room till midnight or would have asked for a different room . Waited to see someone when i handed the keys but no-one came .the staff were lovely some of the food was nice

Warm rooms

The room was absolutely gorgeous!! Water pressure in the shower was perfect!! Temple spa products within the room were an exceptional touch!

Lovely venue, rooms comfortable and warm. The sinks are a bad design, the kettle doesn't fit under to fill the kettle! Staff all friendly.

Didn’t use hot tub Very pet friendly Staff were great. Room was very small

Runa farm was excellent the cottage was amazing we had a lovely Xmas dinner with all our family I added an extra basic room before checkin , which was upgraded to a room right next to the cottage with Jacuzzi. Was a very nice treat from runa farm which made our stay even better will be booking next year definitely

Only constructive feedback would be to invest in better pillows!

Staff and service were excellent. Beautiful room with upgrade. Gorgeous food on evening and breakfast.

Lack of staff on reception duty ,night porter did not answer phone when we wanted to leave early morning 6am.No Guinness for sale in bar! Add to that the fact that the meal was not freshly cooked as the chips were at least a hour old when they arrived.All in all it was very expensive for what you were actually delivered.As if they thought “let’s make everything very expensive and people will think it must be good at those prices “ …it wasn’t. More Travelodge than Malmaison in our experience!

Staff were friendly and attentive, made our stay very enjoyable.

Room and hot tub was lovely. We were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch which was strange but food was good. Evening meal was a let down, had one waiter on and the poor lad was run ragged, had to cross off most of the things on the menu due to no availability and had none of the wine we wanted in stock. Wife is pescatarian so had very little choice for food. Vibe and decor of the hotel and rooms was very cool though and room was very cosy

Hot tub lid was difficult to put on and take off. Breakfast service was a little slow but food was lovely. We found lots of hair pins and grips in the floor from previous guests. The "leave me alone' sign wasnt clear that it was for putting on the door to avoid being disturbed, it was hanging on the cupboard door which made us think we couldn't open the cupboard which housed the tea making facilities eyc!

The hotel staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a hot tub, as it was my partners 50th birthday. Also a lovely touch, a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room with a card.

We booked last minute and were very impressed with the friendly service and accommodation.

Stayed for our daughter’s wedding which was first class. Food, staff facilities and organisation was exceptional. Thoroughly recommend.

Our experience was generally good, the staff both on reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant. The food was disappointing as it didn’t live up to its expectations of the menu, which was a shame. There was a lot of noice coming from the outside patio area as people used this space for smoking and vaping. Our room over looked this, you could hear a lot of noise even with the window closed along with the various smells from the smoke.

Absolutely amazing

Room was small but perfect for what we were after, and It included toiletries and tea making facilities. We had a private hot tub which was brilliant. The was a good selection at breakfas,t but at dinner there were quite a lot of meals unavailable, but what we had was very nice. The hotel was generally quite shabby but that is the intention I think and it did add to its charm.

Food was lovely although my wife’s breakfast order was incorrect. Got black pudding and tomato despite asking not to have. A bit of a waste but rest of food was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Room was lovely.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating. Only one very minor issue was the lighting in the room was poor - due to lack of lights
