**Pros:** The bartenders were exceptional—friendly and attentive despite being busy, especially at the swim-up and hotel bars. Our assigned butler was helpful and personable, assisting with dinner reservations when the app failed. The steakhouse and hibachi offered surprisingly good food. **Cons:** This resort was a major disappointment. Spa and excursion staff constantly solicited guests poolside, disrupting relaxation—one even shouted “spa!” while I tried to nap. The Ocean buffet had questionable food safety, with warm deli meats/cheesesand seafood salads; most items were barely edible, old, and cold. The sports bar “WIN” was no better—chicken nuggets and fries were hard and cold. Restaurants lacked air conditioning, leaving us sweating through meals, and every meal caused stomach issues, forcing us to stick to fries and nachos. The mini fridge was never restocked despite daily cleaning. The reservation app was unreliable, often showing restaurants as closed when open. Drink service in restaurants took over 20 minutes, and there was no air conditioning. Hot tubs were cold, even on chilly days. Entertainment staff ran inappropriate poolside contests, like a twerking competition for women (who weren’t informed beforehand) and a beer-drinking contest for men, rewarding winners with liquor. This “5-star” resort felt far from it—more like a 2/5. Expedia should verify ratings, as many seem fake. I’d avoid this resort and Punta Cana entirely; Cancun was a far better experience

Property was beautiful. We enjoyed being on the adult side cause it was quiet but also having the option to go to the family side for entertainment was nice. Food was good and the variety was plentiful. We always had water in our refrigerator and everyone was attentive to our needs. Only had 1 issue which was one afternoon we had no water but it was resolved within a few hours. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet smaller resort!

Este lugar tiene unas piscinas espectaculares, el equipo de animadores a pesar que son solo 3 fantástico. Es un hotel solo adulto y muy tranquilo, de hecho ha sido el más tranquilo de todos los que he estado. Donde estoy muy decepcionada en la comida que tiene muy poca variedad, los restaurantes a la carta horrible, el único que estuvo mejor fue el Japonés. El Steak fue tan pero tan malo que nos levantamos y nos fuimos, por casualidad salió en ese momento el Chef principal de los restaurantes (El Ruso) y nos ofreció un almuerzo y comida al próximo día dirigida directamente por el y así fue, ahí fue donde la experiencia fue especial! Que pena que no haya sido así desde el primer día ya que el hotel en general no está malo. En la habitación la nevera todo el tiempo súper surtida, el servicio de la habitación no fue el mejor ya que cuando llegue le pedí a la persona que limpia el Steam que no estaba, después de dos días lo tuve que volver a pedir porque no llegaba, pedí que me cambiaran la ropa de cama y tampoco lo hicieron en toda la semana, el jueves llegué a bañarme y no me habían dejado toallas en la habitación, tuve que coger las pequeñitas y terminar con la bata que está en las habitaciones, tuve que llamar a guest services para que me las enviaran para cuando regresara de nuevo en la noche poder tenerlas. La playa yo sabía antes de ir que no servía, la persona que quiera playa no es el lugar para visitar. No es una opción para regresar!!

La instalación están las puertas muy dañadas párese que se han mojado y están todas inchadas el recibimiento en la resección fue de lo peor el trato no fue amable muy groseros en especial el jefe de carpeta Roberto una esperiencia terrible

Lovely stay at a great hotel. Highly recommended

This property was great. The entertainment was great, the scenery was nice, the rooms were modern and spacious. There are two downsides to the property though. The beach was not as nice as other resorts I’ve been too. The water is shallow and there are virtually no waves. Also, if you are a foodie you might be disappointed. The food is quite inconsistent. Perfectly edible, not very hit or miss. My advice is to try their Dominican food every chance you get, the Dominican buffet was the best meal I had the entire trip.

Piña colada from the entertainment team was amazing. 10-10.

The adult side was very quiet and relaxing and the resort has plenty of staff to take care of you. You can go over to the other side for some other activities and shows. The staff kept everything very clean and running great.

Serenade All Suites - Adult side was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and ready to help if asked or approached. The two things that we did not like about this resort was the food was very mediocre. The best restaurant is the "Koi-al-a-cart" (reservation required). If I knew how good that one was, I would have eaten there every night. Also, there is little to no shopping options for tourist type things. The shops that the resort can "bring" you too are nothing to waste your time on, as items at those shops are very overpriced. Overall, our stay was great aside from the food and the lack of shopping options.

Serenade was everything as advertised! The food and the different events they had were awesome. All of the staff were very friendly and made my stay very comfortable.

This resort is beautiful! It is kept very clean and presentable. The All Suites side is going on 2 years old so all the furniture and amenities are in tip top shape. Perfect resort if you’re just looking to relax. The food was pretty good, although i wish there were more cultural food options available. As far as the workers; for the most part they were very friendly, but I did experience some not so friendly ones as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort!

I enjoyed this resort so much. I upgraded to a swim up oven view upon check in and it was beautiful. Resort was extremely clean, staff was super friendly. I enjoyed the food and drinks, and access to the sister property. I am planning to return for sure

The room, grounds, and overall facility was exceptionally clean and outstanding service by all staff. All staff were polite and professional and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The only minor negative was that there are a limited number of reservations at the resort restaurants allowed per stay. I believe two nights we had to eat at the buffet dinner because we were not allowed to make any more dinner reservations at the restaurants. However, that being said, the staff at the buffet dinner made delicious food prepared in front of you. While I wish I had the option to make a reservation every night of my stay, it’s nothing that would discourage me from coming again.

Disappointing for a “Five-Star” Resort The devil is in the details, and this hotel missed many. The room had odd design flaws (like a toilet light switch on the opposite wall), only one nightstand, and uncomfortable pillows. Service was far from five-star — it took three calls and four hours just to get water delivered, and staff often seemed unattentive or overwhelmed, especially at the beach and buffet where drink service was minimal. More troubling, I was harassed by a bartender. Though I reported it and the complaint was acknowledged, no meaningful follow-up occurred. Guest relations dismissed it as a “language misunderstanding” — which is unacceptable, especially as a native Spanish speaker. The food was hit or miss, with inconsistent quality and limited dessert options, though mimosas and specialty drinks were available all day, which was a nice touch. The lobster bisque at the steakhouse was outstanding — one of the few memorable highlights. On a positive note, the hotel was clean and the facilities were fine, just not exceptional. Overall, this was my most disappointing all-inclusive experience. For a resort that markets itself as luxury, the lack of attention to detail, poor service, and weak response to serious concerns made it feel like a 3.5 star stay at best

I recently stayed at your hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative. I feel it’s important to share detailed feedback so that future guests are not faced with the same issues we encountered. • Our bathroom had a persistent foul odor, and we noticed cockroaches during our stay. • Room service was extremely poor. It took three days just to have our mini fridge refilled with water. • Our shower was non-functional for two days, and despite repeated requests, the issue was not addressed promptly. • The front desk was unhelpful with every concern we brought to them. We were unable to make reservations without offering cash directly to staff, which was unprofessional and frustrating. • There was no bathtub stopper available throughout our stay. • Amenities like the included hydro massage were never mentioned to us — we only found out by chance. • Most bars closed unusually early, and the quality of drinks was poor. • The food was mediocre overall. The steakhouse was particularly disappointing, with the buffet being the only consistently enjoyable option. • The pool had no lighting at night, and on top of that, people were swimming into our private pool area with no staff enforcement. • Our TV didn’t work, and we were told it was due to the IT team being there — something that should not impact guest experience. • The room lacked basic necessities like an iron or steamer, and the coffee machine didn’t work.
