First of all, I would like to say that I was not satisfied with the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Dakhla, and unfortunately this one is well below expectations in terms of price–performance. I do not plan to return. The rooms were poorly maintained: there were gaps under the doors, issues with hot water, and leaking sinks. When we reported these problems, no prompt or effective solutions were offered, and some issues were not addressed at all. I would like to acknowledge Mahmut at the reception — he was very kind, helpful, and professional, and we truly appreciated his support. However, I cannot say the same for the lady working the other shift. There was a gap under the room door and insects were getting in; when I requested a room change, she simply told me to put a towel under the door. This is not acceptable. At times, I could not find her at the reception and had to look for her around the hotel to get my room key. When I approached her, she spoke to me in a rather rude manner, saying ‘come with me’. On a positive note, the food was very good — compliments to the chef. Overall, based on this experience, I do not recommend this hotel.
