I usually stay at a hotel down the road a wee bit but it was fully booked. So i went for this place as it was recommended by a friend. Didn't disappoint, i had a wonderful time. Everything was clean, staff were super helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back

Property was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was decent. Close walk to beaches and restaurants. Lots of parking near by.

Great hotel with immaculate facilities and grounds. Would of liked some sort of entertainment within the resort.

WE emailed when booking as my wife was a wheel chair user they offered an up grade when we arrived but kept the room we booked our fault we should have followed up our email. The staff where very nice. Breakfast something for every one.

First time at the Ilunion Costa Sal and we were not let down. The hotel is excellent, clean and well maintained. The room was clean and functional for our stay. We found the food to be excellent with a good choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The hotel team are great and couldn’t do enough for us. Well located in Matagorda with a great range of cafe’s, bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk. There are a couple of supermarkets close by and a small shop on site. The pool area is immaculate and never too busy, with no subbed hogging. The hotel is ten minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes walk from Puerto del Carmen. A great hotel, in an excellent location. We will definitely be back.

Leuk complex, met mooie zwembaden, nabij stand en supermarkt.

Bad start to our stay. Booked a table for dinner on the first night. When we turned up to eat the table we had chosen had been allocated to a party of 6 and we were informed no one can book a table!! The member of staff who told us this was quite off hand and rude. Really bad communication. The accommodation itself was good and the reception staff were excellent

Just back from out third stay at this hotel. Can't fault it - the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, good breakfast. Easy walking distance to lots of restaurants.

Everything was perfect-staff, amenities, cleanliness. Perfect quiet chilled out ‘village’ style hotel.

En recepción el personal muy amable, pero las llaves no eran las correctas tuve que volver, la estancia no a la altura de un 4 estrella, el aire no funcionó, cama incómoda y pequeña.

Great stay will definitely recommend and will be back

The hotel was perfect, the rooms clean and spacious. The pool area was fantastic with lots of space and plenty of sun loungers, pool bar and great views. There was separate smaller pools in and around all bungalows as well, plenty of facilities. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

Clean and welcoming

Rien à redire, Très bon accueil des équipes, changement de serviettes de toilettes tous les de 2 jours quand la personne venait faire le ménage. 2 piscines à disposition des toilettes et des endroits pour se changer à divers endroits, un SPA discret et des appartements sans vis-à-vis - tranquille - serviettes de piscine à dispo - Des avions, le soir mais pas handicapant et à portée de toutes les directions de visites de l'île. Je conseille. Merci aux équipes du petit déjeuner copieux et aux autres.

Very spacious room and nice maintained resort

Absolutely loved this hotel. We were on a half board basis but everything was provided in the kitchen if self catering. Bungalow was lovely and right by the bottom pool. Television only had bbc news in English but you're on holiday and can catch up when back home. Food in restaurant was delicious and had different theme every night.

Best parts of our stay: attentiveness of all staff, comfort of beds, spacious clean apartment, location of complex, quiet at night. points for people considering booking - coffee isn’t good, pool bar is drab and no atmosphere, families with young children new to swimming should consider a hotel with a much better life guarded pool.

Costa Sal was the perfect place for our first family holiday with out 9m baby. We had in a bungalow room which to our surprise had a separate pool from the main apartments, mostly occupied with families with small children. The resort was incredibly clean and well kept, workers out sweeping and gardening every morning, painting and maintaining the pool. The apartments were well equipped for making basic meals and comfortable. High chair provided in room and also in restaurant. Buffet breakfast was perfect with large selection and lots to chose from for baby too (also GF section available). Short walk the beach or seafront with lots of supermarkets, shops, restaurants to choose from. Close proximity to airport on No161 bus which meant we didn't take car seat for baby. Ideal choice. Only one downside, AC in main living area and not in bedrooms which might be tricky in high summer months.
