Got the side of the hotel that was facing the highway. It was super noisy at night which I expected reading the other reviews. I thought I could handle it since I'm from a major city, but even then it was a lot - but that was totally on me. Staff was super friendly and amenities were as stated. Room was as advertised. Balcony was basically shared with the next room which was kind of weird, but I just made sure the blinds were down and the door was locked at all times. My neighbor did talk very loudly at 3am on speaker phone while smoking cigarettes on the balcony, but that wasn't the hotels fault. Overall it was OK.

El cuarto no era nada cómodo, se sentía mucho calor y humedad. Casi no entra luz solar y las instalaciones del baño no son las mejores, se sale todo el agua del área de baño y se moja todo el piso. Es incómodo que todo el piso del baño esté mojado.

I had a pleasant short stay @ La Colmena suites. Upon ringing the doorbell, I was cordially greeted by the staff and checked in in less than a minute. The room was cozy and had a nice view of the outside. The location is just a 10 minute walk from the metro. On the bottom floor there is a commons area with a kitchen, free snacks and beverages, and a fridge to store any food or groceries you purchase. Check out was a breeze and you can even store your luggage in the hotel for a few hours after check out in case you have some last things to do or see. I would highly recommend La Colmena Suites for a short stay here in CDMX

Comunicación pésima previo a la llegada, considerando que desde las 4:00pm para coordinar mi llegada porque fue a media noche, por no tener comunicación, estuve 30-45 min entre buscándolos (porque en google sale otra opción) y el contacto que me compartieron nunca contestó.

El lugar muy bien ubicado, el personal muy amable y accesible. Nos tocó un temblor y nos acompañaron e instruyeron con calma y bajo los protocolos.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and unfortunately had a consistently uncomfortable experience. On the first night, I noticed a strong urine faeces-like odor in the room. The staff responded promptly and cleaned it, which I appreciated. However, the smell returned every night afterward, suggesting a possible underlying sewage or plumbing issue. The odor also spread into the bedroom area, making it difficult to rest comfortably. I believe it is a sewage issues because the manhole in the street outside the hotel also smelled like that. Additionally, there is a police vehicle stationed outside the hotel at night, and its flashing lights shine directly into the room. This made it even harder to sleep. Another inconvenience is that there is no elevator, so guests have to carry their luggage up multiple flights of stairs, which can be quite challenging. The bathroom setup was also not very functional. The showerhead is positioned extremely close to the wall, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The sink is also very low and awkwardly placed, which made simple tasks like brushing your teeth inconvenient. While I appreciated the staff’s initial effort to address the issue, the ongoing odor, poor sleep conditions, and impractical room layout significantly affected my stay. Blanca was lovely! El ruido del tráfico es algo insoportable

La gente que atiende excelente, las habitaciones muy pequeñas e improvisadas, muy mal diseño y espacio, escaleras pequeñas y peligrosas para gente con movili9dad disminuida, te cobran por anticipado y no hay manera de cancelar por lo cual ya te fregaste y te aguantas, pesima experiencia, lo único rescatable es la atención del personal que atiende

Buena ubicación, personal increíble muy comprensivo y atento siempre al pendiente de todos los huéspedes. :3
