We really enjoyed our one-week stay! The location is excellent — it’s within walking distance of Old Quebec (UNESCO area) and doesn’t require climbing any steep hills or stairs. The hotel responded quickly whenever we had questions. However, we have two small downsides to mention: the digital room key sometimes didn’t work properly, and the scheduled housekeeping on day five didn’t happen.

The accommodations were close to everything we needed.

This is a great place to stay with clean rooms, comfortable beds and an ok shower. The hotel was a short walk from all the attractions and the location was very quiet. There was a good range of amenities in the room and the kitchenette was well equipped. The WiFi based room key was a bit of a pain but you got used to it.

You can leave your bags in the entrance, but that did not guarantee safety. Would prefer check in at 3.

I booked a room with a queen bed, but we received a double — I even measured to be sure. When I reached out to customer service, they completely denied it, which was extremely frustrating. The bed was uncomfortable and far too small, making our stay really disappointing.

This was a great property! We didn’t have a vehicle and could walk everywhere. Bring good shoes! So many shops and restaurants, the hardest part is deciding where to go! So many choices. It was super clean and nicely renovated, but still had that old feel. Groceries were hard to come by but we did find a little shop with just the basics. Only thing I will mention was there was no shampoo or soap when we got there. After a text to the owner, it was there in 20 minutes! So that was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Super modern and new, good communication, awesome technology, responsive staff (even though they weren't on site), quiet, comfortable.

It was a very clean and pleasant apartment setup, just as described. Staff communicated daily. Just a few minor issues that we ran into - slow drains, which we communicated right away (shower still slow in our last day) and a chirping smoke detector. Either of these issues weren’t deal breakers, and our time there was a success.

Good location, easy to walk to many other locations, and large room, very nice to have a fridge in the room. However, our room had a very strong smell, which was very unsettling. Additionally, I felt as though the room and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The bed and pillows were not super comfortable to me. Limited parking available at the McMahon, but there is a paid parking lot a very short walk away which was good.

A terrific location, very nice rooms and surprisingly efficient entry and exit. Though we never saw the staff, they were very responsive to our communications.

Good location and accommodation . Not great to carry cases to third floor as no elevator . Hoped our accommodation would have some exposed brickwork for added character but it had none

It was a great location in old town. The room was dirty, hair and dust on the floor. We also felt very mislead by the pictures online, the room was very small (uncomfortably small for the price), the bed was terrible and felt like a cheap pull out couch, and we were ground level next to the parking lot so it didn’t feel very safe or secure. It was fine but very overpriced and would not stay again.

Great property! Simple and easy check in procedures. Lots of dining options nearby. The property is always in contact with you in case you need anything. Very clean. Would stay there again. Merci beaucoup!

We loved our stay here. So close to everything we wanted to see yet quiet and restful. The property was comfortable and fairly well equipped. The member of staff that offered us towels, coffee, etc. every morning was so welcoming and friendly. On seeing some of the other hotels we were considering, we’re so glad we picked Le 31! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in future.
