A quirky, very old building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and well-cooked, although it would have been nice to have some cereal and/or fruit juice. We were in room 4 and it was very hot at night. I wouldn't want to stay there in the height of summer. The free car park was great but it was difficult to find when we arrived. Some prior information would have been helpful,

We had a wonderful 6 nights at the hotel. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pub served nice meals and there is a lovely courtyard to sit in the sun with a drink and or food. A fantastic location for local cafes and sightseeing. Our only comment was that you need to be able to walk up stairs unaided. The building is an old building with uneven floors and a circular staircase to the bedrooms. Our bathroom although functional and clean was very small making it difficult to get in and out of the shower.

Very nice stay with an evening meal. Staff are excellent. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. Shower a little bit of a let down to the overall stay. Perfect location to explore Lymington

This is a quaint place to stay. Full of history and alleged ghosts but we did not meet any! The staff are fab and we ate our evening meal there which was delicious. The room was fab.

Quirky rooms and everyone designed differently. Had a freshen up as well

The room was freezing cold on arrival. Dirty grubby carpet. Paint flaking off the walls by the bed. Broken tap in bathroom. Damp towels.

Winter restaurant closing time was a disappointment had to go elsewhere.
