Comfortable room and bed, quiet

This is a beautifully cared for home. The only issue we had was that the Expedia site did not say it was a shared bathroom. Manny was able to upgrade us to a room with a private bath.

The house is set up for the guests and there is lots of common space. Our room and all common areas were spotless. Manny has thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. He accommodated our special request. There is great walking trail that starts down the street.

Manny's place is a very beautiful, clean, comfort home. It was absolutely perfect for us.

Last minute I required a place to stay for one night and was pleasantly surprised to find one room available. It was comfortable and in an area close to my family and friends.

Manny’s was exactly what I needed it to be, clean, safe and relaxing.

The property was great as was the owner and manager, Manny. The bedroom was spacious, clean and had a really nice bathroom with a big jacuzzi style bathtub. The kitchen was well equipped with all things you need if you have to cook. The other guests were very quiet and courteous. The neighbourhood felt very safe. The only minus was the distance from all the places we wanted to see. If you are driving - it’s about a 20 minute drive. Overall - excellent option for your stay in Ottawa.

Great experience! Interesting setup with the shared kitchen etc...you get to meet people coming and going if you spend time on the main floor. Manny puts personal attention into the house and his guests, and is *very* helpful and friendly. Our specific space in the basement was roomy and the AC was cranked nice and low, bed was comfy, great lighting, heated bathroom mirror... *but* the folding couch is at the end of its life and in its current state I'd suggest it being a space for only 2 to sleep. We used the BBQ and ate in the afternoon sun on the back patio, Set up the laptop on the *amazing* leather couch in the living room to do some work, we cooked multiple meals and all the guests were respectful of our foodstuffs. Plenty of coffee to go around, water cooler in the dining room, easy check in, grocery stores/mall a couple minutes drive away, about 30 minute drive from downtown.
