This is a lovely retreat. Each room is an individual cabana. The decor in the room was beautiful, and the landscaping of the grounds is wonderful. The staff was extremely gracious. I used this as a base to explore the area for 3 days and it was perfect. I had a rental car and explored on my own without booking any tours. It was easy and safe. A perfect trip. I will do it again soon.

Lodge Quelana is a beautiful place to stay. It's outside if town, so you have the opportunity to see the clear night skies from their observation deck. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast had a great variety. To get into town, you need to drive, but the peace and quiet is worth it. After all, the town is not why you would come to the area; it's the landscape and the stargazing.

O lodge quelana é incrível, exatamente como nas fotos da propriedade. Fomos de carro de calama até o hotel (melhor forma de conhecer o atacama). Tem um estacionamento amplo, os quartos são confortáveis e com ar condicionado/aquecedor - que faz toda diferença - pois durante o dia faz bastante calor e a noite bastante frio e eventualmente você ficará no hotel durante o dia após algum passeio na madrugada. Tudo estava muito limpo e o café da manhã é muito bom, a equipe do hotel é extremamente cordial e simpática, sempre com um sorriso no rosto e disposta a ajudar. A localização é um pouquinho depois de san pedro de atacama (vindo de calama), coisa de 4 minutos de carro, o que dá mais um ponto positivo para o local: silêncio e baixa poluição da luninosidade.

Pearl in the desert! We can highly recommend to stay at the Quelana . It's a beautiful, super friendly and tranquil oasis in San Pedro de Atacama. The breakfast is outstanding. We would return any minute!

After having passed through San Pedro de Atacama on the way to the property, we were so pleasantly surprised by the contrast that experience provided. The hustle bustle and dust of SPA was left behind for a quiet lush shaded oasis in the desert. The cooing of doves in the trees greeted us to our home for the next five days. The welcome we received from the staff was superb, and that experience stretched across everyone there. Breakfast was a joy every day, greeted with warm smiles and offers of a wide and completely satisfying spread of tasty foods. The room was spotless, private and oh so quiet and peaceful. The location offers easy access to the town, as well as the wider Atacama area. When we return to the Atacama, Quelana will be our first choice for base of operations. Thank you all!

Beautiful lodge just outside San Pedro. Taxis are about £5 and reception will call for you, restaurants are more than happy to arrange a return. It is away from the bustle of San Pedro and very peaceful. Staff are brilliant. We had a standard room, there was sufficient space, it was spotlessly clean, well equipped and well presented, we were very impressed. There is a lovely pool area and each room is self contained with outside seating. Only breakfast is served, this was very good, on other days we ordered the packed breakfast which was always ready for us and enjoyable. We felt well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and the lodge itself is a beautiful place to stay.

This is an oasis from San Pedro. Paula and staff were so kind and helpful it made a great stay perfect. Rooms are spacious and clean with AC which you need here. Pool area was beautiful and breakfast is great!

Immaculate lodge style hotel! Everything is super new and well maintained. Staff very friendly. The included breakfast was delicious, including local touches. Each lodge room is very private, and during our stay the whole atmosphere was very peaceful. I would return 5*

Our 5 night stay at Lodge Quelana was wonderful! We wanted to stay at a really nice, relaxing and quiet hotel while in San Pedro de Atacama and Lodge Quelana was perfect. We loved coming back to the pool and relaxing at the end of each day exploring the Atacama. The rooms, service, staff and breakfast are all wonderful! All of the staff are so lovely and helpful, particularly Paula and Nadia. It is a 7-10 minute drive from town so best to have your own car. We highly recommend staying there if you want a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Wow. What a great place to stay! Out of the city, which was nice. I think you certainly need a car if you’re wanting to stay here. Very quiet and the staff were incredible! Really made our trip to the Atacama special. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the pool side was lovely on our rest days or in between tours. Highly recommend!

O Lodge fica a 4,5km da Vila de San Pedro, Então recomendo para quem vai de carro. A única refeição que servem é café da manhã , para jantar e almoçar necessita ir à vila. Acho que poderia ter mais ganchos para pendurar toalhas no quarto e banheiro. E achei que o ar condicionado não da conta do calor. O café da manhã poderia ser mais diversificado, mas atende bem. Funcionários super atenciosos e simpáticos Nos adoramos nossa hospedagem.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge Quelana. Our room was lovely. The best part was the staff. Natalia was super amazing as were the breakfast staff. Natalia spoke great English and was so helpful with everything. Great vibe in this place. It's a quiet hidden away spot. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay from beginning to end. The owner of the lodge is super friendly, accommodating and super helpful. The rooms are modern, very tastefully designed and has everything you want (space, comfort, etc). I could go on and on, but in short, I have nothing but excellent things to say about this place. Best place to stay when visiting San Pedro de Atacama and surrounds.
