We arrived for check in and quickly dropped bags off and then went for a night out in Lancaster to celebrate. Once we returned we quickly found that the electricity in the house wasn’t working. We tried the obvious such as checking the fusebox and unplugging items to see if these were tripping the circuit but there was no luck. No electricity meant that the heating hadn’t come on and there was no hot water. We had to walk around the house via the torches on our phone. We tried the contact number for the host but this number was turned off with no option to leave a voicemail. We tried multiple times to message via hotels.com and have been ignored. I have also tried addressing this with hotels.com who say it’s an issue between ourselves and the property owner despite the property owner ignoring all communication. Overall this ruined the night away for us all and being ignored by the host has left a bad taste in our mouth. We would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.

First impressions were disappointing - the living room was sparse with a dirty rug and a cupboard with a handle missing. The kitchen could do with a lick of paint, while shower is okay for people under 5ft as the pole which holds the shower head was broken. The hooks on the back of the door were also hanging off. Also, no info of where to eat and places of interest locally. However, the bedrooms were nice and comfy with tasteful decor. Lancaster is a lovely place and this stay-over could be and should be so much better!!!

Did not get to stay as was ment to have a code to into the place and never got sent and ignored emails and phone caĺls i was waiting outside the property four a hour in the end had to travel all the way back home
