we had one night where air conditioner was not working, and so many instructions on leaving the cottage, we are both 90yrs old Nina and David were most obliging in answering our questions and we thank them sincerely.

S.V.C is a wonderful hidden gem & we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for Easter! We stayed in "The Stockman" Cottage. The Cottages are beautiful, immaculately clean, cosy & there isn't a thing the owners haven't thought about when it comes to making sure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay. I really loved the bbq on the verandah, it was perfect for breakfasts if you prefer to self cater. The property itself is well maintained, very peaceful with nothing but bird songs, so perfect to escape the city noise. Plenty of things to do and see if you have a car. Thank you Nina for giving us the most wonderful stay in your beautiful paradise.

Quiet, peaceful and very relaxing 😌 very private and great escape for couples. Pet friendly also and a pool!

We had a lovely weekend here for my birthday. Would have been nice to have comfortable chairs on verandah. ☹️Also the railings on stairs should go down to bottom steps for us oldies. The dog treats are a lovely addition. Great place to stay.

Was looking for a couple of quiet days in nice surroundings. This property was perfect with the nice pool and our little puppy was most welcome. We will be going back soon !

The reception and communication were both very good. The hosts were helpful and did their best to ensure that we were comfortable . Despite having some difficulties with electricity we were ok . The location is excellent and close to all essential amenities. Parking is good and most importantly for us we could have our pet with us. A clean , safe peaceful cottage.

We enjoyed being away from anything and anyone, but were close enough to amenities if and when needed. Loved the greenery outside our cottage and the choice of breakfast brought to us, bonus!

located in a peaceful country style location, yet close to all amenities. Everything we needed was there, and the hosts were amazingly friendly and always available for any questions or suggestions

I highly recommend this place it's unfortunate that lack of communication between the hotel expideia and I ruined my trip. I have stayed here before loved it which is why I came back. The room and surroundings were still great but I was charged $150. Still waiting a reply from hotel or Expedia to what's going on, then woken up and told to leave when I still had an hour before check out.
