The food is spectacular and worth the whole trip itself.

We had the most amazing stay at the Arctic Gourmet Cabin. The cabins are cozy, comfy bed, beautiful views. We enjoyed relaxing with a sauna and hot top. The 4 course meal with wine pairing was one of the most outstanding meals I've ever had. I highly recommend treating yourself to this experience! also a fabulous spot to see the northern lights!

It was a very nice stay!! The property owner was very nice and is a great chef!! Kinda sad that we didn’t get a chance to try his dinner but if we come back in the future we definitely will!!!!!! 110/100 would recommend :D

Fantastiskt trevligt boende och sympatiska ägare. Härligt med utespa och bastu och gudomlig mat och dryck. Rekommenderas varmt. Vi återkommer nästa gång Kiruna passeras.

Johan’s place is something really special. He is very personable, kind and really cares about the experience his guests are getting. He made sure we had everything we needed, agreed to make us dinner everyday we were there (even though it was a last minute request) and let us know when northern lights appeared :). His food is out of this world! So good. Really enjoyed my time here

Det var mysig stuga med fantastisk mat och service. Johan var mycket hjälpsam.Vi njöt av jacuzzi och bastu. Det som drar ner betyget är att det var en förbränningstoalett och en dusch som 4 personer delade på.

The dining experience is wonderful and our wine pairing was spectacular.

Malin was so friendly from the pick up at the train station. Had a scenic night tour of kiruna. And welcomed us in to her cosy cabin. After settling in we had use of the sauna and hot tub to relax before our dinner. The gourmet dishes prepared by Johan every night was to die for, each dish you tasted was delicious. A lovely experience and intimate. Late in the evening we got to see the Northern light faintly which was a plus! The cabin was lovely to wake up in the morning and walk down to the lake which was frozen and see the sunrise. Then after sunrise walk back to the cabin for a warm breakfast.

Absolutely marvelous owner, Johan. He is also a Chef and his wife a Somelier. Hence get ready for great meals with the right wines to enjoy! I’m Vegan and he made sure I would also enjoy Chef’s quality meals. Johan’s warmth and attention to detail makes everyone feel cared for and at Home. The cabin Is comfortable and homely. Oh! You must go in the hot tub outside and watch the Aurora Borealis from there. It’s Magical! Next time we’ll stay for more days than a weekend.

Zunächst waren wir skeptisch aufgrund der schon fast zu guten Bewertungen. Aber die Arctic Gourmet Cabin ist wirklich perfekt und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Johan ist ein super Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Viel besser als große touristischen Hotels, einfach eine besondere Erfahrung. Auch das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

A beautiful, quiet location in a forested area on a lake about 20km from Kiruna. Our cabin was spacious and the bathroom/sauna/hot tub were only a step away. The highlight of our experience was the beautifully prepared meals by Chef Johan. Locally caught fish, reindeer and moose were only a sample of what we experienced in our three night stay. Great outdoor firepit for watching for the auroras. We were able to see them two out of our three nights there. It was such a special place and we will always remember the kindness of Chef Johan and his family. The birch trees were blazing in gold and oranges and this was low season...Highly recommend this cabin/food experience, you will not regret it.

The facilities of the property (sauna, jacuzzi, everything) are new and clean and super enjoyable. The scene is breathtaking around the cabin. Most importantly, Johan is the nicest host you can ever have. He really manages to help and make the guests happy. Also he is a great chef cooks the best food. Me and my friend simply just fall in love with this place and appreciate Johan very very much! Highly recommended ;))

En väldigt speciell upplevelse. 2 små stugor vid en sjö mitt ute i ingenstans. En 9m2 restaurang där ägaren och kocken bjuder på fantastisk mat som han tillagar i det minimala köket bredvid borden. Vi lyckades inte se nåt norrsken pga vädret men hade en underbar upplevelse ändå. Rekomenderas starkt.

Var trött på de övriga hotellen jag brukar besöka i Kiruna. Detta var precis vad jag behövde för att ladda batterierna. Utsökt boende, natur, stillhet, mat och inte minst service.

Absolutely magical little place! We stayed for one night, used the spa and sauna for a couple of hours before enjoying an amazing five course dinner, cooked by Johan the owner, and accompanied by a perfect selection of wines. Johan's sence of service and attention to detail is extraordinary. We would recommend anyone to stay at this lovely little spot! The location is on the country side, next to a lake, about a 20 minutes drive from the airport in Kiruna. Perfect place to spend your last night, before flying out the day after! Book a stay here, you won't regret it!
