Great hotel great staff

I went in to check in at 3:00. I would’ve liked to get a room but I was told quite abruptly that “your room isn’t ready”. Perhaps “I’m sorry, but your room isn’t ready yet” would’ve been a little nicer. I came back at 4:00 and I was relieved to see a different person at the desk. She was very kind and polite. It was a cool day and the wall heating unit made a terrible noise every time it shut down. Otherwise the room was comfortable

Pub was ok. Fine dining restaurant option available if you feel so inclined.

Everything was awesome, except there were no outdoor 120 volt plugins for our hybrid plug-in car

This is a beautiful property. The food at the pub is good. The beds are very comfortable. Would totally stay here again.

Checking in was seamless, the room was gorgeous in its design and decorating! The beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean and all amenities were provided. There is a somewhat hidden game room that my Son found too, that was not listed on the website. The pub has amazing food! The bannock tacos are delicious and very filling. The bannock breakfast sandwich is such a satisfyingly good way to start the day. The decor throughout the hotel is stunning artwork. I am truly grateful for this amazing place to stay when visiting North Island, Port Hardy and surrounding areas and towns. Thank you!

Staff were very friendly. I feel like the room could have been cleaner; there was dirt on the floor in the bathroom and the bedding had hair on it.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful art, amazing service. Bed was very comfortable and set up perfect for working. Charging in convenient locations. What really stood out was the coffee, which was fantastic, and most of all, their bathroom products - shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap etc. I’ve never, ever, ever - in 5 star hotels - ever had such good products. I have long, frizzy prone hair, and I always have to use my own products. Not this time. I was super impressed. Loved the hotel and would definitely stay again. The new restaurant in the lobby was also terrific. Nice tea, and the tenderloin was exceptional.
