The room was great but noice was load due to a winter festival in jasper

This place was nothing like the photos. Holes in the drywall. Could barely fit into the bathroom it was incredibly small. Bed was creaky and low quality. Bathtub felt like it had water under it and could barely keep balance when showering. Nice view was about the only positive. Will not be staying again.

Overall our experience at Astoria hotel was very pleasant! The staff were helpful and kind, helping us with an early check in, being accommodating to us. We were happy with the room, clean and has all the amenities we need. However a little too warm as we could not turn down the heaters. As well, parking was easy right in front of the hotel (keep in mind this is winter season and street parking is free until May).

Friendly staff, safe stay and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant downstairs is excellent and cheerful waitress.

The room was very small, probably because the hotel is over 100 years old. There was a king bed squeezed into the room which left very little space for anything else. Our first night there we had trouble sleeping because there was some function with loud music nearby. The room was very warm and we had trouble turning the heating down. We didnt really interact with the staff other than at check-in.

Staff are friendly. Easy access to everything. We love our stay.

My room was clean, quiet and well attended to. A note mentioning that a microwave was down the hall may be a good idea. Is liked having the nice cup and saucers instead of paper or Styrofoam. Some form of TV channel directory would have been nice.

Very nice stuff who were very accommodating. I loved the Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Hotel is next to 2 restaurants and shopping

Location is mid main steet. Perfect location.

The hotel was extremely quaint. This was my second visit and I love it. The rooms are dated but it just adds to the charm.

The shower temperature did not stay the same and fluctuated between cold and too hot throughout my shower

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. But my room was super tiny, just big enough for the bed. And the bathroom was even smaller. My shower knob would just spin in either direction making it extremely difficult to adjust the temperature. Also witnessed and elderly couple struggled to make it up the stairs, no elevator or way to assist their limited capabilities. I understand the location and it was tourist season but for the $400 price tag during the middle of the week is ridiculous for this over priced hostel environment. I will note the attached bar had decent food and service was friendly when they were attentive, but I sat (at the bar) with an empty drink a few times for quite some time, place wasn’t dead but definitely wasn’t busy.

Cute hotel in downtown jasper. Easy to get around walking.

The room was very dirty. The staff at check in and check out were rude. Couldn’t wait to leave. It was centrally located and this was the ONLY thing good about it. The rest was awful.
