Very big and clean rooms

It was lovely. We had everything we needed

Great views. Of course. Highlight. The rest? Not so much. The finishings are terrible - spaces between the floor boards, very dirty grout in tub, the shower curtain looked quite dirty etc. The woman who checked us in was very nice. No offer to help with bags. Super steep stairs up. But that’s fine - they lock the thermostat! What?? Thankfully she came up and left it unlocked. We just wanted the stupid heat off they had far too warm. Lots of ants in kitchen on the counter. The owners response? It’s ant season…no offer to get an ant trap etc so the kitchen was unusable. The food in the restaurant was very good. No grab bar in shower. No mat for the floor getting out, tub very slippery. It didn’t seem very secure as the door barely latches but we bring a travel lock for the door so that wasn’t an issue. They don’t say they are luxury and they aren’t. The windows open which is awesome. The view is lovely. TV? Not really. They don’t even have Tubi or allow you to download it even tho it is free. So that was a bummer but the ships were our reason for being there and that did not disappoint. It is a perfect location and is generally what they say it will be. That comment about the ants was the last straw for me. If you want to watch ships, don’t need a nicely finished place to stay, are very mobile and do not need the above things, this would be a great choice. The ships are a must see.

Very cozy apartment and the staff at Canalside are great!

Great location, overlooking the bridge and river. Spacious, clean and cozy room had everything I could have needed. Will definitely stay here again!

The room was terrific, well appointed and clean. The maritime decorating theme was great. The books, games and puzzles in the shared hallway were appreciated and the books in the room very interesting. The bed was firm Kitchen was well stocked and efficient. Parking was good but the stairs a bit dicey after the snowfall and not cleared. Would certainly stay again! Greeted by very friendly staff!

Amazing inn, right where the canal and event was, very comfortable suite. Won’t be advisable for those with mobility problems going up/down the stairs. Otherwise, everything was cozy, perfect venue and host was very friendly and helpful.

Nice and quiet place. Away from the crowds

Our first time in Port Colborne, quick visit. This hotel and restaurant is a fairly popular spot. Nice spacious room in an older building, above the restaurant. We had the room with the canal view. Room is well-equipped with a kitchennette for longer stays. Characteristic of the older building, the wood floor was sqeaky and no elevator, but this was not an issue for us. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, and they accommodated my wife's request for gluten free options (celiac). Nice walking promenade across the road, along the canal.

Amazing experience, I will definitely book again. The check-in process was easy and the informatio that was provided by the host was incredibly helpful. I wish that I could have enjoyed the area more.

The rooms are located upstairs over the restaurant. We were greeted and checked in by Greg, the owner. Very friendly, made us feel at home. Even offered to help bring up our luggage since there is no elevator and quite a bit of stairs. We had room #6, beautiful, very spacious, very clean, no dingy smell. I would have liked to have two more towels and I’m sure he would have given them to us, but I forgot to ask when we went down for dinner. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet even thought a band was playing in the restaurant. Restaurant food is delicious and the staff are so friendly you feel like family. Hubby enjoyed watching the cargo ships come through the canal. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The place is in a idea location for those visiting from out of town. Improvement needed for parking for Inn customers.

Nice little place to stay. Comfortable bed. Great owner. Nice Pub, Friendly folks all around.

Had a wonderful Valentine's Day getaway. The room and everything was fantastic!

I genuinely loved my stay here. The unit was so incredibly well thought out, unique and very homey. It s in an adorable street right across from the harbour. It was beautiful.
