No frills tourist hotel in the heart of Lakefield.

Everything was great! Continental breakfast was just enough for us to get our day started. Clean and centrally located. Staff was very friendly. This was our third visit to the Inn.

It was nice to go to a hotel with a little bit of personality the room is spacious and quiet. The only disappointment was no hot food for breakfast eggs bacon etc. Everything else was fresh and delicious. Everything was clean and enjoyable.

Room was clean, great, had vinyl flooring for our dogs which was appreciated. Staff were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, walking along the trent, coffee shops and little boutiques - lovely. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet, great staff, nice room

The good - the room was in good condition and spacious and it was nice that parking was included. Also appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. The not so good - the heating unit made the air extremely dry. It was also disappointing that there was no body lotion or hair conditioner given the price of the stay. There was also no dairy milk alternative like almond milk at breakfast making it not very vegan friendly.

Excellent in all three. The frig wasn’t very cold though.

The Inn is well managed. This is the second time I have stayed there. It comfortable and clean. Lakefield is a gem of a town. I stayed in the upper floor at the back of the building.

Lovely and cosy spot in an Ontario town with much history and many recreational activities in any season.

The lady that checked us in was very nice and very welcoming! Our room was lovely. The bathroom provided several towels which we appreciated. Lotion and conditioner was provided however no shampoo (likely a mistake). The room was not refreshed on the second day. The breakfast was well stocked with cereals, muffins, breads for toasting, fresh fruits, yogurt and good coffee. We would stay there again.

A beautiful inn located right in the heart of Lakefield with the kindest staff. Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer stay with ample room space, seating area and kitchenette. We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The staff were very friendly, the place is well maintained, and the room well appointed. I found the bathroom quite small which would be my only complaint. The complimentary breakfast worked well for us, simple but fresh. The price is quite reasonable and the restaurants nearby were quite good. Sweet little waterfront town.

We were from the area and moved to Welland. We had business to look after and this was the most convenient place to stay. We would book again. Pleasant staff they couldn't have done more for us.

Unfortunately, the room wasn’t very sound proof. We heard complete conversations, alarms from cell phones and of course hall traffic and voices. We were a bit disappointed, knowing that the hotel had been rebuilt after a fire.
