This place is a gem. We arrived a little early which was not an issue. I speak little to bad French and the person at the desk, who may have been the owner, spoke no English, yet a combination of smiles, nods and a smidge of google translate made for a hassle free check in. When he realized that we’d be leaving before breakfast he insisted on putting together a breakfast to go for us which was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom looked recently renovated but with a designer touch. The room had a fridge and microwave which was a much needed plus. The beds were super comfy, the room dark and location quiet. Too bad we only needed to stay for one night. A lovely, characterful place.

Older but clean and comfortable

The rooms: Unbelievable. The pictures didn't do it justice. We had the family suite. It was beautifully renovated, very clean, very spacious and there was nothing missing. Staff: absolutely lovely. They were all super nice. We felt so welcome when we arrived and the cleaning ladies were sweethearts. Location: Ideal. Less than two minute drive from the charming town of La Pocatière, so it was very quiet but close to everything. And there was lots of parking! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling by La Pocatière, it was way nicer than lots of hotels I've stayed in.

The room and the beds are great, the continental breakfast is good just the location is in an industrial area so not much choices for food, especially in the evening but thats not the property issue. The hotel itself is a great stay. Love it.

Even though existing reviews state that the people at this facility speak English, this was not our experience. The check in person responded to our questions in 100 mile an hour French which we did not and could not understand. We were stuck searching for our room in a facility with a confusing layout. In an economy where we are encouraged to spend our money in Canada, this place doesn’t seem to get it. We will not stay here again.
