No staff onsite, however you can call and text. They were super helpful and responded quick. Cars were pretty loud outside but wasn’t a big deal for us. Room was decently clean. Not many parking spots

Très bel endroit, bien situé près du vieux Québec. Petit café directement en face avec du délicieux café. Par contre, le chauffage est assez élevé dans la chambre. J'ai dû partir l'air climatisé pour arriver à une température décente. Il devait faire 27 degrés celsius dans la chambre...Merci!

Emplacement idéal en plein centre-ville, lits confortables, réponses rapides

Hotel bien situé, à côté des Plaine d'Abraham et du Vieux Québec, tout est accessible à pieds. Chambre propre et confortable, espace cuisine au RDC bien aménagé et bien équipé si on veut manger sur place.

Loved the character of this hotel. It had an antique feel with old world charm. Since the building was a bit older you do hear foot steps and voices a little bit more but it was what I expected from this type of building and didn’t bother us. We never once saw a staff member but they communicated through text and checked in very often. The contactless check in was very easy and we were really happy with their communication and attentiveness. Everything in our room was plugged into 1 extension cord which wasn’t ideal, if we turned on the lamp the fridge made noises and while making coffee the lights would flicker. But it didn’t cause any issues. The location was great as there were so many restaurants in walking distance and easy to get around. Over all we had a great stay, the value for what we paid was very reasonable and would stay again.

Expect to deal with this hotel via text message and have them not solve your issues and defend themselves by saying that they send you instructions on how to fix things if something fails to function. They will send instructions but not resolve The issue if those instructions don’t work. If you are considering staying during winter times be aware that the entrances are not salted and they are dangerously slippery. My son almost fell because the one of the paths of the entrances was not salted and

Please do not book based on the star rating of this hotel. This hotel couldn’t even salt their entrances. There’s no one on site after certain hours, so if someone goes wrong with your room at night time, there’s no one to help.

Chambre propre avec accès a l'extérieur.

L'hôtel est très beau et propre. La chambre est vraiment grande est fonctionnelle pour une chambre standard. La communication avec la réception sur wattssapp est très fluide. La salle a manger avec les équipements est vraiment top et utile (petit bémol il n'y a pas de couverts à disposition). Pour information, le petit déjeuner n'est plus d'actualité. En conclusion, nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour à l'hôtel Charles Alexandre.

At my arrival at around 4:00pm on 02/07 there was no heat or barely in my room , the hot water in the sink was unusable , the fridge was warm , the shower door was broken and more . I went out and came back around 8:30pm to find out that nothing had been fixed .I called the receptionist (not on location ) and asked for at least a space heater for awhile but they had none left. So I informed them that I had to leave . So in this freezing room it took me until midnight to find another place much further that I wanted due to being a Saturday night and a Carnaval weekend . The next day the group Aneyro, which by the way has at least 9 other properties around Quebec City , contacted me . The director offered me a full refund for the 2 nights and for the $50.00 parking but only if I would sign a form that stated that I would not write a review on line . Well , l am a woman that believes in justice and freedom of speech so I refused this offer . In addition to a full reimbursement I asked them to pay for my 2 night stay at another location as a compensation for this terrible encounter but the director said that « they were not in a position to provide additional financial compensation or reimbursement for alternate accommodations «  For me the customer service at this hotel was truly inexistant. This has been a very regrettable experience.

Hôtel impeccable, meubles neufs, espaces communs bien pensés et super mignons. Un des hôtels les plus propres que j'aie visités de ma vie. Seul bémol, le mini-frigo dans la chambre 15 fait du bruit... je suggère de le débrancher la nuit. Je vais choisir cet hôtel chaque fois que je visiterai Québec !

Clean and cozy rooms, efficient staff

The room was clean and cozy. The staff were helpful. Overall, everything was perfect

Room was dirty. There were “dust hares” under the beds which were only downgraded to dust bunnies when I requested a deep clean. Broken light bulb in the bathroom, lack of soap in soap dispenser and tiny bugs everywhere were not addressed despite our requests.

With this being a virtual hotel (no front desk reception) it was very smooth. Simply pick up the phone ant the reception desk and your support is right there. If you text them they response with seconds. Great job!
