The staff it’s really nice and helpful. This is my 1st hostel so I didn’t know what to expect but the property is well maintained, the breakfast top notch and the building clean overall. The only issue I have was when others are coming late and they don’t respect people are trying to sleep (but if you are in a group and all of you are together you don’t have to worry about it) this is not a facility issue.

Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Fantastic and healthy breakfast. Overall, very good value and a central location.

Fjärde gången jag bodde på Silo. Bra sängar och rum. Väldigt trevlig personal. Enkel in- och utcheckning. Praktiskt läge för mig som använder mig av Badisher Bahnhof antingen för att komma hit, åka vidare till Tyskland eller om jag bara vill ta en dagstur till Freiburg eller Strasbourg. Bra frukost. Det enda som hade gjort Silo ännu bättre är större skåp att ha medelstor resväska i för när jag kommer till Basel vill jag alltid köpa med mig mina och min familjs favoritsaker med mig hem. Jag kommer definitivt komma tillbaka igen! Ni som aldrig provat Silo, gör det! Ni kommer vilja komma tillbaka igen och igen.

Lovely stay at this nice and spacious hostel. Staff were very friendly and everything g spotlessly clean.

The stay was simply brilliant for an hostel you could hardly ask anything more clean and spacious dorms, wonderful repurposed building with lots of history attached, great location to explore the town, with bus stop right at your door & the girls were absolutely amazing caring helpful friendly...will happily stay again.

Bra säng och allt i och kring rummet var väldigt fräscht. Nära tågstation och andra kommunikationer. Att checka in kvällstid fungerade inte bra i mitt fall. Trots att jag checkat in online och fått bekräftelse sade det digitala systemet att mitt rum ännu inte var klart. Efter telefonsupport löste det sig.

I will say that the entire staff was super nice, especially nickole.... It is such a really unique and beautiful building that literally used to be a grain silo! I will return for sure! Highly recommend!

Sehr interessantes Hotel/Hostel!

Absolut reizendes, einzigartiges Baudesign, gemütliches Ambiente trotz viel Beton, topsauber; das netteste und sympathischste Personal was mir in einem Hostel wohl jemals begegnet ist, zudem unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und gefuldig. Bleibt definitiv ein Geheimtipp für künftige Gelegenheiten. <3

Quiet, clean, spacious - brilliant stay. Stayed in female four bed dorm in this interestingly designed hostel. The only comment I’d have is that the dorm rooms are so big the beds could probably be individually set out, rather than stacked as bunks. To save the squeaking of top bunks and steps etc.

Sehr große, moderne Zimmer und saubere Sanitäranlagen. Für die relativ kleinen Spinde benötigt man ein eigenes Schloss. Es gab eine Fahrradabstellmöglichkeit innerhalb des Hostels. Das Frühstück war von einer kleineren Auswahl, allerdings hat es mir an nichts gefehlt und die einzelnen Sachen waren sehr lecker.
