Serve good breakfast, hospitality is great

Overall, it was awesome. Approximately 10 minute-walk from both the Gornergrot train station and the Zermatt cable car station. Great view from the balcony as well.

I was only here for a short stay, but it was perfect. Friendly staff, room with an excellent view, easy check in, close to many trails.

We truly enjoyed our time here! As soon as we arrived, the staff got us into our room and they were so kind! The room and view were beautiful, breakfast was excellent, the hotel was super clean and beautifully furnished! We will absolutely be coming back!

Great view of the Matterhorn from large, comfortabe room. Very nice, modern amenities. Memorable skylight of nearby mountains. Helpful staff with good advice. Very good breakfast offerings and service. We have stayed at many special hotels around the world. This one rates highly overall and for value.

Fabulous location, excellent staff, and adorable room, with a great balcony and view of the Matterhorn!

The hotel boasts an exquisite ambiance, adorned with climbing gear and captivating photographs. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast selections added to the convenience of our stay. Most notably, the assistance provided by the front desk staff in organizing our stay and excursions was invaluable, with special recognition to Rebecca for her exceptional support.

Amazing!

The hotel staff were great! The room was very clean and quite spacious. We were shocked to find that our room had an excellent view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The breakfast that was included was also very nice! It was more than a buffet. They also provided hot dishes to order along with fresh hot cappuccinos.

This hotel was perfect for us. Traveling as a family of four (two grown boys plus parents), it’s hard to find places where you don’t have to book two rooms. This ‘apartment’ was perfect. Large bed for us and twin lifts for the boys. Breakfast was great, staff helpful and fun. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic hotel!! The staff was so incredible welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home. They suggested things to do in the area as well as restaurants, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was so yummy several choices and really high quality food, especially the scrambled eggs was so delicious. The whole family’s favorite at the breakfast. They had local wine in the bar and several other choices. Our room was very spacious with one queen bed and one bunk bed. The room was very well planned fresh, clean and tidy. Down pillows and comforters. An absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel.

Wow! We have loved all our stops, but what do you say about a place that is very clean, has a huge room, large bathroom AND a balcony that looks directly at Matterhorn?!! I say that we will be back. Rebecca at the desk was so helpful. She got us checked in quickly, gave us our key (a real key. You’ll understand it fits the whole vibe) and we were quickly off to walk around town. The hotel has a family run feel and I should have asked. Or maybe it says and we were just too busy having fun to notice. Rebecca was also very helpful in getting us information about skiing and made reservations at a fondue restaurant for us. I will say that everything in Zermatt is expensive so don’t let the price, alone, turn you off. This hotel and the town are so cool. It is definitely worth the small splurge. Breakfast is also included and quite good. Can’t wait to get back!
