The most stunning property with an amazing view of Lake Brienz. We had a lakeside room...to wake up to that view every day was amazing. Staff went above and beyond (especially Shiva)! We loved the peacefulness of Hotel Seeburg after long days of sightseeing. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Fantastic location on lake Breinz with regular bus service to the street that leads to the hotel.the hotel is about a 7 min walk from here. The dock for the ferry is also right outside. The owners Michaela and Shiva are also very hospitable. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable with great views. The breakfast was excellent. The sandwiches and ice cream were also really good. We had a short stay this time but if we are in the area again, will definitely be staying here again. We had an early morning train to catch and the owners were kind enough to pack us a BF to take. Highly recommend this place.

This was our second stay! We love this hotel. Beautiful lake view and balcony. Close to everything but remote. Fabulous breakfast too! We will be back.

The Seeburg Hotel was wonderful, the views are breathtaking! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was awesome and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Shiva and Peter Michael are the best! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

We have stayed in 544 nights over the last 4 years at hotels and this would be the best of them all. The view… wow! The service…. Faultless. The breakfast… amazing. Transport nearby with bus, train or ferry. The owners offered us takeaway coffee of a morning and packed us a bag of takeaway breakfast when we left early. I can’t recommend this place enough. We had a balcony room and the sunrise and view all day was incredible. Best hotel by far just so impressed. The area is safe and quiet. Drinks by the water’s edge of an afternoon is so relaxing. We will definitely be back to Switzerland just to stay at this place.

Beautiful property with easy access to lake Brienz. Breakfast was the best we’ve had during our trip to Switzerland. It’s also only 10-15 min by bus to Interlaken.

Absolutely incredible stay at Hotel Seeberg! 🌟 The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel at home — genuinely some of the kindest people we’ve met on our travels. The location is unbeatable with jaw-dropping views and peaceful surroundings. You will really get to enjoy the best of Switzerland’s nature at your doorstep. Don’t be fooled by the distance from Interlaken — you also get FREE public transport in and around Interlaken, and there’s a ferry terminal literally right in front of the hotel. The bus stop is about a 7-minute uphill walk, totally manageable. This place is a hidden gem. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Perfect place for a couple! Romantic setting by the lake, ferry boat stop right in front, and an awesome breakfast spread every morning. Peter and Shiva were very helpful and always made us feel at home… definitely well-recommended and will book again on next Swiss trip!

This was probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. You CANNOT beat the view here. Right on the lake with gorgeous mountains in the background, tucked away at the bottom of a hill so you feel so secluded. The staff was wonderful as well and made sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were super clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Yes it was expensive, but you get what you pay for which is a serene and relaxing stay right on the turquoise blue water. The grounds were also really nice and there was a nice walking trail that takes you around the area. Easy bus route to get to the location too. I would come back here in a heart beat.

What a gem of a place to stay right on the lake and very private. Great staff who were very helpful with any questions we had and they were very attentive. Room was very nice we had a lake view and so it was very picturesque. Facility is very nice with great options for sitting and lounging outside should the weather be good. Buffet Breakfast was very good with a lot of options and was cooked fresh fried eggs and fresh smoked salmon every morning as a free option. Beyond breakfast limited food options for lunch and dinner so we needed to leave property. The village only has a few food locations that are not always open so you will need a plan for dinner. Parking was fine limited onsite parking but there are some parking spots right outside property. Just outside the property is a dock for the lake ships to pick up and drop off people did not bother us however. Some other options would have been nice to have during the stay. maybe spa or sauna and gym on the resort would be amazing and more food options beyond breakfast would be great as well. We would happily book at the resort again in the future

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this quiet, peaceful, historic hotel. We particularly liked the beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. Although it was too chilly for us to use it, their patio dining right next to the lake was gorgeous. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh, fried eggs and smoked salmon. Our room was very clean and spacious and our bed comfortable. It could use some updating of the carpet and decor. We were lucky enough to arrive at the hotel by boat, which dropped us right at the front door of the hotel. It is a bit of a hike uphill to get to the bus stop, but it is a pretty hike! We would recommend staying at this hotel.

This place is wonderful!! The breakfast is out of this world and to open the French doors in the room and enjoy the sound of the lake is serene. You must stay here! The couple who owns it, works diligently to make you comfortable. Clean rooms and a fresh feel! The bus stop is close by and easy to walk to. No negative things to say at all.

Absolutely wonderful! We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view of the mountains and lake. Fabulous breakfast. Convenient parking. We used the bus to go to town for dinner each night.

This place is a hidden gem. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The owners Peter and Shiva are lovely. Very nice small hotel, very personal and cozy. I would stay there again.

O Hotel Seeburg fica em Riggenberg, bem ao lado de Interlaken. Fica exatamente na parada do barco que faz o percurso do lago Brienz. Tem também opção para ir a Interlaken com o ônibus 102, pegando-o na parada a poucos metros do Hotel. O quarto tem tamanho sensacional e a vista, então, é indescritível. O café da manhã é muito farto e saboroso. O atendimento do hotel é fantástico. Agradecemos por toda gentileza e carinho que Michele e seu staff nos prestaram durante nossa estadia. Ficamos 5 dias, e já deu vontade de voltar logo.
