Nicer than expected, not as nice as hoped. Decent room, convenient location. Tub was clogged but everything else was decently clean. AC is super loud but works really well. Would stay again.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. There were really no amenities. The room was below expectations.

The basic room was filthy ... floors, walls and fixtures. A dead fly squished and left on the wall. There were no bulbs in the desk lamp so unusable. The bathroom taps were dirty and I thought they would come off in my hand. The ceramic tiles in the tub surround were moldy. The white towels, though laundered, one looked like it had been used at some point to clean a floor. The bed appeared clean (but hard to trust that judging by the surroundings) and was comfortable for the night. There were 2' high dandelion weeds growing outside our door. We had to ask for ice. When it melted in my glass it look like sandy grit on the bottom. The office had to get us a hair dryer. There were very sketchy residents around the other side of the motel that made us uncomfortable enough that we walked back a different way. There are many other choices in Hanover but we chose this for location and price. Won't do that again. Parking was outside our door and convenient.

I thought the room was clean and tidy. The king size bed was comfy. The room had air and free wifi. I would stay again. If anyone is coming to the hanover walkerton durham area i would say Travalers in all the way inlove how they have a nice fridge and microwave in the room too. 10 out of 10

In general it was good, but when you check in after 12 am you have to call from the phone hanging on the left wall, but it doesn't work and there is no one at the reception desk, it's bad that you have to wait outside the door. There are no hangers for clothes in the rooms and no wardrobes, even small ones. The air conditioner is very old and worked loudly and prevented me from sleeping. They also request your credit card details upon check-in and enter them into their computer, which is not safe for you.

Staff was nice. Not what we were expecting. Looks like there’s long-term ‘guests’, but we were provided a room near the office, It was a clean room and quiet at night. Couldn’t get TV to work, but didn’t bother letting front desk staff know as we got in late. Not on my list as a do over.

Very dated, the hallway smelled very bad of cat urine.

We arrived a little early, first time ever our room wasn’t ready! Had to wait a half hour. The girl at the desk was snippy and said I should have called to let them know and that check in is at 3. Anyways we waited and when we got into our room the floors were wet and still filthy dirty! Had to use a towel to dry the floors and it went from white to black. The tv didn’t work but they eventually got it working which was great! The bed was at least comfortable. The ice machine was out of order and the hallway leading to our room was full of junk. Good thing there was outside rooms. Next time we visit the Hanover area the travellers inn will not get our business!

Staff was friendly, and the rooms conveniently open directly onto the parking area, no hallway navigation required. Also, there is a discount store, a grocery store, and a chain coffee shop right next door and the town's arena and race track are right across the street.

The sheets were stained, floor was sticky, half the hotel is rented to homeless and drug people.

Parking is great

We stay there every six weeks when we visit our son and are very happy with the staff and accommodations.
