Well, honestly I think the property would make a great funeral home. It’s a very dark place, with many salon type sitting rooms. There is no food. It is also noisy- at a corner with a gas station across the street so I got little sleep. It is what it is. Staff good, room good, hot water great, but no I wouldn’t return.

This is an historic hotel that has been upgraded to be clean and comfortable. That said, some details were overlooked. For example, one room didn't have any moisturizer. In another room, the heater in the bathroom didn't work. Some rooms had microwaves others didn't. A coffee creamer in one of the rooms was coagulated that is to say gone bad, but the beds were good. Everything was super clean, plenty of pillows and towels. The shower was good. There was hot water at the sink as well. Coffee tea and bottled water were available for no extra cost. There were plenty of places to get meals nearby.

Very happy with our stay. Really nice property, very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the furnishings in the common areas and in the room. Looks to be geared toward hosting weddings, and would be an ideal hotel for that, but we were just visiting from out of town for a couple of nights. Would recommend and stay again.

Beautiful Victorian hotel in the heart of downtown. Great German bakery right across the street and an eclectic mix of shops, cafes and restaurants. Free parking onsite. Room was nice, mixing elements of old and new. Very friendly service, even at a very late arrival time.
