Rooms need AC, even in Arequipa's mild to cold weather. It can get warm in rooms. Our triple room lacked a window and proper ventilation, making it unbearably hot at night. The staff was friendly

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The property is a former mansion that once belonged to a Peruvian president who served from 1899 to 1903. He purchased it during that time and lived here after his term ended. Staying here feels like being part of history, and the rooms are beautifully designed with high ceilings. If you enjoy historical buildings like I do, you will definitely appreciate it. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was spotless, and the location was convenient. I’m glad I chose this place instead of a traditional hotel.

The hotel is the second president of Peru resident the garden is lush. The building is beautiful. The rooms were spectacular. The only issue I had was there was no parking.

Un lugar muy bien ubicado para llegar caminando a la Plaza de Armas y los lugares más turísticos del centro de Arequipa. Muy buen servicio y brinda tranquilidad para tomar un buen descanso. Las habitaciones muy acogedoras.

Room was not ready at Check-in time and ended up waiting almost 45 mins before allowed to get in room.

Las habitaciones no tienen ventilación y me generó tos. El personal es muy amable. Queda en una zona del centro que no se siente seguro caminar en la noche. El destino es delicioso y el patio es muy bonito, pero las habitacion no me pareció nada agradable. Me parece que el precio está mucho más elevado por lo que se ofrece.

The staff and the service were AWESOME

My family and I intended to stay at Casona Solar for one evening but ended up staying almost a full week! The staff and owners were very accommodating with our last minute changes and super helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. We will definitely return on our next trip to Arequipa!

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets, with a view of the nice garden! The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a couple of options! The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. I felt very comfortable there!

Ottima posizione e bella struttura, proprietario accogliente e disponibile. Le uniche pecche sono state il cattivo odore in bagno e la scortesia della signora alla reception. Avendo visto che dietro al giardino c’erano asciugamani stesi ho chiesto al personale se potevo stendere li il bucato e mi è stato detto di sì, peccato che al mio rientro nel pomeriggio sono stata ripresa in malo modo per questo dalla signora alla reception.
