They’ll tell itself was nice and clean. However, the restaurant was very limited. We ended up, with the advice of the stuff, driving 10 now minutes to a beautiful and great restaurant.

Enjoyed my stay. Room was clean, staff was very helpful, location was great for sights in national park.

Es war ein kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf die Straße. Sehr kleines ruhiges Dorf, also wenig Verkehr. Die Matratze war etwas weich, ansonsten war es ganz gut. Man hat den Aufzug und die anderen Zimmertüren jedoch immer gehört, was ziemlich störend nach einiger Zeit wurde. Das Frühstück war lecker, jedoch begrenzt auf eine Wurst, einen Käse, etwas Marmelade, Brötchen und Gemüse.

This hotel is the perfect location to explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The visitor center is a short walk away and the village is pleasant to walk through, especially Love Street by the water. The rooms are exactly what we were looking for: a place to sleep and stash gear while we explored. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Where this hotel excels is the service! Friendly and helpful.

We stayed in late Sept 2025 and the hotel was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good but food ran out early.

There are no televisions in the rooms. Mattress was thin and had no support. Small thin pillows. The staff was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was wonderful! friendly, helpful, and quick to make things right. The hotel itself was spotless, and the rooms had excellent blackout curtains, which is so important in Iceland during summer. The only hiccup was with our room booking. We had reserved one room with three beds, but when we arrived they said it was only booked for one bed. I showed my confirmation, and it seemed to be a mix-up on their end with a double booking. They upgraded us to two separate bedrooms with queen beds, which was very comfortable. However, the following night they moved us again into a room with three beds once it became available. Switching rooms two nights in a row was a little inconvenient, but they were apologetic and made up for it with a complimentary meal and discounts on food and drinks. Overall, it was a lovely stay with just that one bit of hassle at the start.

This was the most expensive accommodation during our trip. The expectations were high, according to the price. We were disappointed. The triple room was quite small for three people. The small shower could fit in their huge shower curtain and a tiny person inside. The breakfast was good, but other places had a lot more breakfast options. We would probably look for other options in the area.

Typical chain type hotel. Room, ok. A bit cramped and on the cheap side. Food not so great. Staff very nice. No real view.

Ágætis dvöl en rúmin alls ekki þægileg. Bæði lág og of mjúk. Starfsfólkið vinalegt og kurteist. Við hnutum um að ekki var hægt að fá matseðil á íslensku! Það er alveg út í hött á Íslandi.

We had a great night in the hotel. The room was clean and there was plenty of room with the three beds. The restaurant food was good for dinner and breakfast was tasty. The front desk had a map showing all the murals in town so we went for an evening walk checking them out. We highly recommend looking for the magnificent murals. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Dinner was good, a bit pricey but aligned with the island.
