Avoid!!! I arrived at about 5:30 at night, had a booking confirmed for over a week and NOBODY WAS THERE! Rang the bell, messaged and tried to call several times - no reply! People from the shops below were even trying to help me contact them. Finally Expedia customer service helped find me another place to stay, which was thankfully nearby, nicer and less expensive. I'm a pretty experienced traveler but this was kind of scary. I'm a woman, alone, in a new city and it was starting to get dark and cold. I'd just arrived after a 4 hour bus trip and luckily my phone still had some charge. I rely on booking through Expedia so this never happens (and this was the first time.) I think properties like this should be banned from trusted platforms like Expedia. The property did message me three days later to say sorry and wish me a good stay in Cuenca.
