From the moment I entered the property between the staff, the beauty and the cleanliness I couldn’t believe what a beautiful place for the price. If you’re looking for Central and reasonable this is your place hands-down.

Pool wasn’t as clean as we’d like.

My stay was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was kind and always helpful, and the free breakfast tasted authentic and delicious. I would definitely come back.

Excelente hotel, pequeño pero acogedor, todo súper bien, tiene una pequeña alberca con agua templada, habitaciones limpias y de buena calidad, desayuno riquísimo que te incluyen, de verdad lo recomiendo y volvería sin dudarlo.

I really liked this hotel it's small cozy , clean , well maintained, we where there in low season so no one around , located right in the middle of the main plaza , you can take nice evening walks , it has a brewery called el zopilote, good ambiance , we enjoyed our stay

I rented room 8. It was clean and comfortable but there was a Mothers Day celebration on Friday night that went well into Saturday morning. This is not the fault of the hotel and had I known I would have delayed my arrival by a day. Celebrations at the square are not just loud they are super sonic loud. Alejandro and his staff should be rated a 10 on a 5 scale. They are amazing

Todo estuvo excelente. Quiero recalcar la labor del personal. Alejandro (recepción) nos atendió, orientó, cubrió todas las necesidades que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia (recomendaciones de Playas, transporte y nos proporcionó lo necesario). Definitivamente si regresamos a Loreto, nos hospedaríamos de nuevo en hotel 1697. Además está muy bien habitado. Y el desayuno, sencillo, pero suficiente para iniciar el día. Muy cómodo desayunar ahí, al aire libre, con una excelente atención.

Perfect location on the town square and main pedestrian walkway (Calle Juan Maria de Salvatierra). Yet, the courtyard layout makes it feels private. Friendly staff at the daily breakfast as well as the Zipolote brewpub. Clean, well maintained. We'd definitely recommend

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was in Loretto for a conference, and I needed a place that was quiet, Zen, and close to the venue. Located just off a historic and picturesque square with places to eat all around. I had an upstairs room. It was very nice - large bed, low-key local decor, places to put your stuff. Temperature control was great and quiet, with a remote-controlled AC and a large ceiling fan. Breakfast made to order on request. Has a nice small pool that I didn't have the opportunity to use. For whatever reason, the other guests there during my stay were also quite chill. I think that may just be the Loreto vibe. In sum, highly recommend.
