Everyone was polite and courteous and the whole hotel and room was clean and well laid out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything good, would stay here again. Restaurant nice, excellent Thai fish curry.

The staff in the breakfast room were amazing and very welcoming we couldn’t praise them enough But The night porter was ignorant and rude to my wife while I parked the car When I arrived in the bar he’s wasn’t welcoming to me either

Very nice stay, hotel clean and quiet. Appreciated having shuttle service available from train station and locally for business purposes. The staff was really responsive and friendly.

Breakfast poor. Two sluces of small potato fir some inexplicable reason. Heating in room non functional. Seals on door to outside and window failed so wind getting in. Dovecotes restaurant closed without being told on booking. Rooster restaurant dreadful. Food based on quanity rather than any level of quality. Inedible due to oversweetness of sauce on one dish. Massive quanities of pesto swimming over the whole plate on another. No idea of balance of dishes. Couldnt eat. Just an awful stay and not at all cheap. No value for money

Beautiful property in a stunning location

Located conveniently for my needs Clean room, courteous helpful staff, and reasonably priced Located near Morley in Derbyshire on a property with 2 golf courses. Its a beautiful setting in the countryside

Very dated hotel room , not worth £189 for a room . Decor something out of the 80s . Very dark . Reception check-in perfunctory no info given on wifi or breakfast options

Good food, excellent staff and nice rooms.

All went smooth and as expected, a good stay. Room has a lot of light switches is my only comment! All seem to be on by default. Pain when time to go to sleep, having to turn them all of individually or just pull the entire card.

We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival. When we went to our room we found that there was a substantial issue with it. We reported the issue to the hotel reception and they moved us to a different room that was much better.

Arrived at 8pm, check in friendly and seamless. Got my EV into a charger and downloaded app all easy. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom had Milton Brown toiletries which was nice. Bed was a bit soft and could probably do with a new mattress. Went for dinner in Roosters and staff were excellent and food was lovely Breakfast was great and again staff were friendly and warm Checkout was easy and friendly The staff definitely make this hotel.

A lovely boutique hotel, nestled in some beautiful surroundings and a classic quiet England village. The big draw for me is the golf facilities. A stunning 18 hole main course and a great 9 hole course. The driving range is also a rare gem with real grass practice areas. The staff are very friendly and engaging and more than willing to help. The room itself is spacious and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and I couldn't recommend it more.

The scores of four were for very specific things that they now know about and will sort. We love staying here and wish it was just a little cheaper so we could stay longer. We love having a meal in the Dovecote Restaurant and having a summer evening drink in the lovely garden.
