initially, I was upset because I was charged then told that my reservation was not in the system. Upon further review, the manager quickly alerted me that I had booked for Sunday and not Saturday as I had originally thought. she was patient and very professional and accommodating me although it was my error. I owe her tremendous gratitude and great customer service followed. The room I had was clean recently remodeled and she took a negative and turned to a positive. Thank you both.

Manager is so kind

This is almost a 4 star hotel with the price of a 2. So nice and so clean , comfortable and had everything we needed. We went to a concert at the Greek Theatre and this was so convenient and so very affordable. Nice owner checked us in and plenty of free parking and safe with gate. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

Updated rooms good location with safe parking. Walkable dining is good and freeway acess good. Don't expect a lot of staff interaction.

Everything excellent

I have stayed at the Sakura Inn multiple times, however the last time I stayed was almost 10 years ago. It was really nice to be back and to see the great renovations to the rooms. They look great!

For an inexpensive option in the Glendale/Eaglerock are, Sakura is a great choice. We have stayed here several times and will be staying here again, until we can afford the Langham in San Marino.

Clean spacious room, very easy getting in and out. Highly recommended.

Change of owner ship , the entire place smells like curry 🍛. Previous owners sold it and are gone . I wouldn't recommend it for this prices

Always my go-to when visiting the Los Angeles area. Safe, quiet, secure, and the rooms are comfortable.

The room clean

There is a special way to change the water spout to the shower. You have to squat down to do so. It is unsafe. I recommend that you change it BEFORE taking a shower. Two of us did NOT change it before, and squatted to change it at the bottom, and hit the head hard consequently.

The staff and all the help were wonderfully nice, kind, helpful with even the smallest requests. The property felt very safe and secure, which is nice for a lone female traveler. Loved the smoked glass mirror in the bathroom that takes 20 years off! :D Parking could be a bit challenging after 10pm, but usually was fine. There was always a space, even if a bit difficult to navigate. My ONLY quibble was that the tile floor in my room could use a good scrubbing. My feet got dusty/dirty between the shower and bed, a problem I solved with a damp bath mat. Minor problem, but the review would be five stars if this were fixed.

I wish I had better to say, the property seemed nice, but my key card demagnetized both time I left the room. I went to my car after check-in, and it demagnetized - one use and about 2 minutes later. I never had it around any magnets. That was annoying, but I was able to go back to the front desk to reset it, and just made a mental note to keep it in a completely separate pocket. Unfortunately, the second time it demagnetized was when I got back for a night or with friends. The desk closed at 7pm, so nobody was available to help, even though the front desk door was unlocked and I rang the help bell multiple times. I ended up sleeping in my car until the hotel opened in the morning.
