Great place to stay. Slightly far from major tourist areas, more of a quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely no interaction with any staff. Pre-check in was done electronically. And upon arrival, check in done on an Ipad. Room was clean upon arrival. No cleaning service provided. Just clean up after yourselves. Empty your own trash. Room is family friendly. Bunk beds for kids, but way too low for those above 1.5m There is a supermarket a short walk away.

Quiet location, close to conbinis

This stay was like a short term rental but with no host. No front desk just a AI bot to “chat” with. The check in process is very annoying. They request tons of information prior to arrival so you think it would be a smooth check in but no. Lots more info and passport scanning once you arrive via the tablet in the entry which is the last thing you want to be doing after a long travel day. These units have kitchenettes so we were looking forward to making breakfast but no that wasn’t possible as the pot and pan were so badly scratched and warped they were not usable. I complained about the cookware to the Ai bot via chat but again no host so that was useless and did nothing. Having stayed in other parts of Tokyo I would also say this isn’t a convenient location. It’s accessed best via subway which isn’t ideal for getting around the city. Stay near a train station. On the plus side it was clean (as i would expect anywhere), had multiple beds for family, and had a little common rooftop area if that matters.
