The hotel itself was excellent. The property was beautiful, comfortable, well maintained, and offered an outstanding breakfast. Up until check-out, I would have rated the stay very highly. Unfortunately, the check-out experience was extremely unpleasant due to the conduct of a front desk employee. When I questioned whether payment was still owing because I believed the reservation may have been prepaid through Hotels.com, the employee repeatedly interrupted me, became argumentative, and raised her voice. After I confirmed that payment was indeed due and agreed to pay immediately, the employee continued to speak to me in a hostile and confrontational manner. The interaction became so uncomfortable that other guests in the lobby were watching the exchange. When I commented that I had never been spoken to this way during my travels throughout Europe, the employee responded dismissively with "Good for you." I want to emphasize that my complaint is not about being charged. I was mistaken about the payment status and immediately agreed to pay once I verified the reservation. My concern is solely the employee's unprofessional behavior and the way I was treated in front of other guests. I felt embarrassed and disrespected, and it significantly affected my overall impression of what was otherwise a wonderful hotel stay.

Amazing breakfast very high quality and the location was unbelievable!!! Would have stayed there a week if possible! Why stay in Garmish when this is a much more relaxed and beautiful option.

The staff are wonderful The young man at front desk went out of his way to take me up the outskirts of the town to collect the bus back to Munich I’m very grateful for his generosity and kindness

This might have been my favorite hotel we stayed at over our 10 days in Germany. Just awesome in every way. Very much worth the money. Highly recommend.

Hotel was a great choice for a quick stop on a longer trip.

Günstige Lage in der Mitte des Ortes und am Fuß des Karwendel Gebirges. Sehr freundliches Personal . Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die schöne Umgebung.Ein SPA Bereich lädt zur Entspannung ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern ein weiteres Mal hierher.

Restaurant staff were rude. They messed up my reservation for a massage and still tried to charge me. They didn’t seem to care and didn’t apologize. Hotel was clean. Room was nice.

Selten habe ich mich in einem Hotel so wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt wie im Hotel Post. Das Zimmer war hochwertig eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Die Minibar wurde täglich mit verschiedenen Getränken zum (kostenlosen!) Verzehr aufgefüllt. Besonders zu loben ist der einladende Pool-/Spa-/Saunabereich: alles ist absolut wertig, sauber und durchdacht eingerichtet. Hinzu kommen Gimmicks wie eine Teebar und Wasserbetten zum entspannen. Nicht zuletzt die super freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen runden das Wohlfühl-Ambiente ab. Das Bio-Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und lecker. Lediglich etwas mehr vegane Alternativen wären wünschenswert. Auf Nachfragen wurde aber sofort eingegangen und z.B. Hafermilch organisiert. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel, das ein besonderes Flair versprüht und hohen Anspruch, Gemütlichkeit und Freundlichkeit perfekt zusammenbringt. Wir kommen gern wieder!
