This might have been my favorite hotel we stayed at over our 10 days in Germany. Just awesome in every way. Very much worth the money. Highly recommend.

Awesome property! looks like a fairy tail, the rooms are remodel and very comfortable.

Altmodischer Schick. Schlechte Betten , sehr freundliches Personal; miserable Dusche - eine Katastrophe. Frühstück war gut.

Great location

Hotel was a great choice for a quick stop on a longer trip.

Günstige Lage in der Mitte des Ortes und am Fuß des Karwendel Gebirges. Sehr freundliches Personal . Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die schöne Umgebung.Ein SPA Bereich lädt zur Entspannung ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern ein weiteres Mal hierher.

Cozy spot in southern Bavaria

Restaurant staff were rude. They messed up my reservation for a massage and still tried to charge me. They didn’t seem to care and didn’t apologize. Hotel was clean. Room was nice.

Selten habe ich mich in einem Hotel so wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt wie im Hotel Post. Das Zimmer war hochwertig eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Die Minibar wurde täglich mit verschiedenen Getränken zum (kostenlosen!) Verzehr aufgefüllt. Besonders zu loben ist der einladende Pool-/Spa-/Saunabereich: alles ist absolut wertig, sauber und durchdacht eingerichtet. Hinzu kommen Gimmicks wie eine Teebar und Wasserbetten zum entspannen. Nicht zuletzt die super freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen runden das Wohlfühl-Ambiente ab. Das Bio-Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und lecker. Lediglich etwas mehr vegane Alternativen wären wünschenswert. Auf Nachfragen wurde aber sofort eingegangen und z.B. Hafermilch organisiert. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel, das ein besonderes Flair versprüht und hohen Anspruch, Gemütlichkeit und Freundlichkeit perfekt zusammenbringt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Nice hotel good Sauna

View from the pool of Karwendel was fantastic!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Mittenwald. Beautiful lobby, beautiful room with beautiful mountain view. Absolutely incredible breakfast. So what's the problem? Hard, uncomfortable bed with uncomfortable, rough bottom sheet. Terrible pillows -flat & mishapen. Only 2 pillows for 2 people. No pillows in closet. One sink in bathroom. Poorly lit bathroom - a problem for contact lens wearers or applying makeup. The whole point of a hotel should be to offer guests a comfortable place to sleep. This one failed for me.

Room was quite small and overall a bit overpriced for the level of quality and amenities. The balcony was nice with great views but don't walk on it without shoes- I got 2 splinters in the first minute walking on it in bare feet. Needs sanding and refinishing! The ladies at the front desk were excellent and very helpful with our needs.
