Noise levels coming from the pub was simply too much

Clean room, nice bed a shower. Could be noisy but if your out until late it doesn’t matter.

The hotel does not look like the advertised photos. The staff was basically nowhere to be found my entire stay and I had no wifi at all during my trip. There is supposedly a lift but it's inconvenient, I personally would not stay here again. It was old and quiet and almost scary. Hotel was quite run down and that would've been fine had I any interactions with the staff here. When I first arrived I could not even enter the building and had to ask a bartender to look for someone for me to enter. The only thing I liked was the area around the hotel, which had coffee shops, a supermarket, and restaurants nearby.

Some lighting not working in bathroom, smell of sewage in landing, old bedding, stained towels, room and public spaces need deep cleaning and redecoration.

Wonderful room, food and live music!

The place was beautifully decorated but not very clean (toothpaste marks on taps and dust under table). It would’ve been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom as there are no mirrors near plugs and robes. Otherwise it was very comfy, dark and quiet so I slept very well.

Nice spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent for South London transport via Clapham Junction and Victoria. Good food in the pub downstairs with a discount for residents.

Staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. Room is small but clean, comfortable and charming. Mine overlooked the railway tracks but was surprisingly not noisy enough to keep me awake. Live music also not too noisy on the top floor. Elevator goes to 1st floor only, then there is noone to help you haul your suitcase the rest of the way. Very quick walk to trains. Lots of coffee shops and casual dining nearby. If you want to be in Balham, then this is a decent option.

The staff were efficient in checking me in but also sent me a message to tell me that they've moved me to room 14 in response to my request for a quiet room. Room was on the third floor and after the long journey to the hotel as London had tube strikes, my dread became foundless as I managed to use the lift at the back of the pub. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the AC working, towels fluffy and clean and the coffee from Nespresso machine strong. Thank you for a good night's rest.

We had a really lovely stay here for our wedding in London. The rooms were beautiful and clean and staff were friendly and helpful. My mother's room was closer to the rail tracks so hers was quite noisy at times but she used earplugs and was able to sleep. Rooms felt safe and bed was comfortable.

The bed and bathroom were amazing!
