Overall, the hotel is really cute! The rooms felt clean, the location in Banff is great, parking was easy, and we absolutely loved the rooftop hot pools. Plus you get robes.
The restaurant is worth visiting for the drinks alone—they were fantastic. The food, however, was pretty average and didn't quite live up to the cocktails.
Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the rest of the experience. The bartender spent time telling me how attractive my boyfriend was, which... was definitely an interesting choice. I already know he's handsome, but hearing it from the bartender while I'm standing there wasn't exactly the hospitality I was expecting.
On top of that, we accidentally left behind a toiletry bag and a bracelet. We called almost immediately, but somehow they had already "disappeared." I'm honestly not sure who's out there collecting half-used lotion and a well-loved bracelet, but I hope they enjoy them more than I did.
Overall, it's a charming hotel with a great location and beautiful rooftop pools. With a little improvement in customer service and the restaurant menu, it would be an easy five stars.
