What an amazing stay from the moment we got there to the moment we left! Met with an offer of a drink and given some home made cake-thankyou Stuart! Breakfast was outstanding served by Peter. Will definitely be back!!

Hotel very appealing externally. We were offered hot drinks and lemon cake on arrival. Very nice room, big window, the room had a much needed fan, small en-suite and a very comfy bed. Mini fridge for milk and complimentary tea and coffee, lovely Border biscuits on arrival but these were obviously a one off as they weren’t replaced. Breakfast was plentiful, many options and very filling. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. There was a small bar too but when we wanted a drink before dinner it wasn’t open.

Excellent accommodation. Nice room (containing mini fridge with fresh milk replaced daily) with view over lovely interesting garden. Efficient Wi-Fi. Very friendly owners. Outstanding breakfast - quality food cooked to perfection. Great location next to the park with lots of parking.

Stuart and peter were gracious funny attentive hosts. The room was beautifully decorated. Location excellent for the open air theatre. Breakfast was perfect. We couldnt have asked for any better

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Complimentary cake and drink was offered on arrival. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bin in bedroom would have been better as bin in bathroom too small. Glass to window needs changing. Bottled water would have been appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to your liking. Personally we didn’t like dogs in the dining room and breakfast needs to be served earlier than 8.30am. Plenty of parking. The Outlook is located in a quiet area overlooking Peasholm Park. There is a front garden for guests to use.

Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts ,they looked after us exceedingly well from the tea and cake on arrival till departure

Absolutely excellent in every way, cracking owners/ Hosts. Wonderful breakfast and a splendid wee little bar for an evening tipple. Location is also excellent, literally across the road to Peasholm park then down to north bay. Will defo return if the chaps will have us !

Wow!! What a find!! Beautiful B n B . Perfect hosts with Peter and Stuart. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely little bar with local brews/gin. Super comfy bed. Lovely toiletries in room. Hairdryer, plenty of sockets for charging phones etc. Superb hot waterfall shower. Dressing gowns in wardrobe. Super size fluffy towels. Beautiful fresh cooked breakfast along with a cereal/fruit/yoghurt /juice buffet. No pre orders for brekky (only porridge is to be pre ordered). Superb home made jams. Do not hesitate to book here....it's beautiful. Town is within 20 min walk. North bay and Peasholm Park are only a 5 min walk. Ideal base for coastal walking or visiting nearby towns etc. Added bonus of free parking at the rear (rare in Scarborough).

We had a fabulous stay. Complimentary cuppa and delicious lemkn drizzle cake on arrival. The room was beautifully furnished, with little extra touches included; binoculars to bird watch, robes for comfort. The breakfast and choice was amazing. Highly recommend it.

We were greeted on arrival by the offer of tea or coffee and a slice of cake which was a really nice touch. It was also good to chat to the hosts Stuart and Peter about the local area and recommendations on where to eat. The recently renovated room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was walkable to both North and South Bay and the town. Breakfast was superb and both Stuart and Peter were very professional in how they managed the breakfast dining experience. Just the right level of attention and really offered a wide choice to eat. Recommended hotel if you're looking for a quiet break opposite the beautiful Peasholme Park

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely little hotel. Peter and Stuart were excellent hosts and the welcoming cup of tea with homemade cakes was delightful. The rooms were newly refurbished and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location right next to Peasholm Park and we had two nights of undisturbed sleep. We enjoyed chatting with Peter and Stuart along with other guests,with drinks in the bar as we arrived back from our night out. The home cooked breakfast sourced from local suppliers was excellent with the food cooked to order and combined with a choice of juices, fresh fruit or cereals, was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Location is excellent for the North Bay and the Cricket. The walk into the town centre isn’t bad, it takes 20 mins or 5 minutes in a taxi. What more can I say. We’ll definitely stay at The Outlook on our next visit to Scarborough and thank you to Peter and Stuart for making this trip so enjoyable👍😀

When we arrived, we received a really nice welcome and we were taken to our room with an offer of cake and coffee. The cake is simply scrumptious. The hotel room is quite lovely with tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, dressing gowns, et cetera. The Wi-Fi is great. The bathroom is lovely and clean and with plenty of hot water for showers. Pillows are comfortable and the mattress was a little too hard for us, but I think we just enjoy our memory mattresses at home too much !! Breakfast is phenomenal and one of the best I have eaten in a long time. Every day we would come back to find clean coffee cups more milk in the fridge and our bed, which was lovely. Highly recommend the outlook
