A very cosy traditional Guest house , very clean had all thag you would need .Very friendly hosts and a wonderful breakfast. Definitely we would return .

Lovely guesthouse, does exactly what it needs to do , welcoming hosts, lovely clean comfortable room with everything you need. Breakfast really good. Parking helps and distance to seafront nice walk.

My husband and I had a fantastic 3 night stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were more like friends by the end of our stay. We chose a full English breakfast every day which you pre order from a checklist the previous evening. It was consistently good. Cooked to perfection and well presented. Bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very clean and fresh. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to town and the Pier and other attractions. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. Thanks!!

Excellent value for money. Room had everything you needed & more. Decorated like your nans bedroom, in a lovely nostalgic way. Great parking & close to everything. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at the adelaide, the couple who ran it were lovely, and made sure i wanted for nothing. The room was clean and warm, tea and coffee provided were ample, bed comfy. Keys provided for room and front entrance door, and no curfew. What more do you need.

Fantastic stay, well worth the money, great hosts and delicious breakfast.! We turned up early before the official Checking in time so we were going to find out about parking and come back later however the room was nearly ready so while Pauline welcomed us,  Dave finished getting the room ready, by the time we had chosen our breakfast options we had the keys to the room. Parking is available on their driveway or in the bays on the street for a limit time and there is also a carpark near by, we had no trouble parking, we were able to park on the drive for our whole stay. Pauline and Dave were very warm, welcoming and friendly, it felt more like a home away from home. We were in room 5, a large bedroom with double bed and 2 twin beds, ample space for what we needed. TV, coffee facilities, good WiFi connection, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, shower was lovely and the breakfast was amazing, fresh products, cooked perfectly, and the other guests were very friendly. There was a lovely atmosphere in the breakfast room, Pauline looked after us well and Dave cooked a brilliant breakfast. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend staying there. Next time we go to Clacton we will definitely see if they have a room avaliable. Thank you Pauline & Dave for all your hard work, looking after us and making us feel very welcomed. We loved meeting you and had a wonderful time.

We booked a Double Ensuite Room. On arrival our room was the family room. Wow what a massive room. It had 3 beds. Lovely fresh looking room, so clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and water was hot. We also booked a twin room. This too was lovely and clean. Had a kettle, teas and coffees for use, as did the Double Room. Pauline & Dave were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much if you requested anything. You could tell that they had been hosts for a long time. Breakfast was choosen by yourself, ticked off your prefered items on a list. Presentation was appetising. More toast, tea or coffee was not a problem. I would highly reccommend you stay at the Adelaide Guest House for a welcoming homely stay. I definitely will be staying here on my next visit to Clacton On Sea. It's in a very convenient location for walking into town and to the sea front and pier. The beds were very comfortable and the decor in the bedroom was very special. Breakfast was delicious.

Lovely guest house in a great location. It was spotless! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room had everything you needed. Towels were a little hard but wouldn’t stop us staying again.

Nice place, good breakfast, cheap. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it for a short stay, 1-2 nights.
